Thread: The Flag War - American vs Mexican

While taking my grandaughter to high school I have started noticing more and more pickup trucks parked along the school with large American flags extended from the truck beds. Yesterday while I was in Modesto I noticed pickup trucks displaying the American flag in the same way. When I commented on it to the girls in my car, they said they are making a statement. When I questioned the girls further they said that the kids are getting sick and tired of seeing the Mexican flag and are starting to rebel. They said after Cinco De Mayo (however you spell it) when the Mexican kids started driving up and down the streets waving Mexican flags some of the kids went on MySpace and told them that if they like Mexico so much to go back. One kid can't make up his mind, so he flies a large Mexican flag with a little American flag at the top.

I love this. WE need more young people getting angry and showing it in a productive peaceful way. Wonderful!

Over the last 6 months I have been educating my teenage daughter on the damage done to this country by illegal aliens. It's amazing...young kids first instinct is to feel pity for these people and that we should just leave them alone. However, when I tell her about the harm it is doing to this country she begins to understand why it must be stopped. Kids need to understand that everyone must obey the law of the land. We can't be selective about which laws we obey!

Unfortunately our left leaning schools and teachers aren't helping out much! My daughter is the exception to the rule.

If we dont TEACH the kids today, who will teach them the TRUTH. The TRuth in what is happening to OUR COUNTRY. They need to know why where when, and the REAL meaning of AMERICA. And why men died for this COUNTRY, and why we need to keep fighting for it and our RIGHTS as US citizens.

Yeah right. They live off the AMERICAN TAXPAYER, they get all the freebies they want, then they DEMAND we let them take over and let them do what they want. Well, not while I am around. I will do everything in MY POWER to fight for MY COUNTRY. And the kids of today need to know this. And what it is all about. Keep flying those AMERICAN flags, we need them, and it is a nice thing to see.

Well, I have to say that a friend of mine who has joined in our activist work here in our small town is a real go getter. She gently talks about things in conversations. She recently had some appliance work. Come to find out that her appliance repair man and his son are HOT on this issue. The son is 28 and his friends can't get jobs. They are willing to go to any meeting we have so it was VERY encouraging to see younger people getting ANGRY AND I MEAN ANGRY.

These DC leaders don't know what is about to happen to their positions once our next generation knows what they've done. These young people who are are already impacted and talking won't be quiet you can be sure of that.

I was reading an article here in California that said that colleges were going to raise their tuition 7 to 10% and some were going to cut classes and take less students. More students were going to have to go to community coleges because of the cost. They said students were also going to find it harder to get to class with the cost of fuel going up and instead of taking summer classes they were going to have to get summer jobs to save up more money to live on.

This reminded me of what my husband keeps saying, that our children are going to resent our government for giving everything to illegal immigrants while making it harder on them. It is like telling them they don't count, they are unimportant.

There will come a time when these liberal professors start spouting their dogma to kids that have been denied scholarships or financial aid simply because they are not hypenated Americans, and these kids will start fighting back.

The college kids right now have been brainwashed into being PC, but the kids in 2009 who are going to hit head on the struggles of getting an education or work will rebel, mark my word, I talk to kids, I listen to what they are saying and they are getting mad.
