Sen. Hutchinson (R-TX) is NO on cloture
Don't know if this has been posted recently but Sen. Hutchinson is committed to voting NO on cloture on the new S. 1639. Spoke to a staffer at 4:35 pm EST.

She's a lady with a brain. I've always liked her. I would be shocked if she voted for this thing.

Yes I also talked to her office and Cornyn's earlier today. Cornyn's aid was very quick to say he will continue to vote no.

I guess she's made it official (for now):
this statement from her office was posted on Michelle Malkin's site:
[i]U.S. Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison (R-TX), Chairman of the Republican Policy Committee, today announced she will vote against bringing the immigration bill back to the Senate floor at this time.
In the coming days the Senate is expected to vote on Cloture on the Motion to Proceed to S. 1348, the immigration bill. Sen. Hutchison said today she will oppose the cloture motion because the current bill includes amnesty provisions and more time is needed to discuss ways to strengthen the bill through an open amendment process.
“I have opposed the current immigration bill because I believe we can provide a workable guest worker program without amnesty, and this bill appears to be going in the opposite direction,â€
