Crack Down On Employers or Just More BS? You decide!
Today, The Department Of Homeland Security Issued A "No-Match" Regulation That Will Help Employers Ensure Their Workers Are Legal And Help The Government Identify And Crack Down On Employers Who Knowingly Hire Illegal Workers. In cases in which an employer has a significant number of employees with inaccurate personal identity information, the Social Security Administration will send the employer a "No-Match" letter. The regulation clarifies that employers may be held liable if they ignore the "No Match" problems by failing to take specified steps within 90 days of receiving the letter.
1. Does this apply only to employers with SIGNIFICANT numbers of no match records? And, what is a SIGNIFICANT number? (wink, wink) Also, what happens to illegal immigrants working for employers with a smaller than significant number? Business as usual?
2. When caught with a "significant number" can illegals then drop the bogus social security number and replace it a tax payer identification number? Would this not also work for Social Security? Or am I mistaken?

3. Isn't this nothing more than an attempt to justify another Amnesty bill? Does the Bush administration really expect us to believe they will work against their own Agenda? That is to say, building the NAFTA Super Highway. And to provide Big Business with an unlimited pool of slave labor to compete with with China and other foreign countries? In other words to help counter our governments poorly negotiated trade policies which allow China etc to dump products into America ... at, or below cost.
Does anyone really believe anything the Bush Administration and Congress say these days?

I can see maybe a handful of companies being fined a few thousand dollars under these regulations. Just like they went after a couple of companies that knowingly hired illegals, and did the Swift plant raids, to try and soften us up for amnesty.
I am not buying it. It will be easy for illegals to get around the regulations, they just need to change jobs every six months! I bet they will set up a network where they swap jobs every six months. Pedro will take Juan's job at Burger King, while Juan replaces Pedro at McDonalds.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

Would you buy a used car from this man (Chertoff)???
The masters of deceit are at it again! Do we really think they are serious about enforcing existing laws like fining employers??? Methinks this is nothing more than a devious attempt to create a little chaos in the workforce so that they can expedite the permanent legalization of 20M illegals. They are fooling NO ONE!!!

Just another ruze to cause confusion and make people think they are doing something while stabbing us all in the back. Next you will hear the bleeding hearts talking about all the "broken" families and "economic refuges" caused by all us racist anti immigrant people. Then there will be a big push for another amnesty bill. It is coming, we can't let down our guard with this bunch. Stay after them every day!

It's just more B.S. I'm surprised that you would even ask.
Anyone who believes that our government would actually 'keep' their word needs to be held back 'another' grade.

Law enforcement's a tough job and not always pretty. The administration will be testing Americans' resolve while their press works at creating sympathy for criminals. We'll need to support one another through all this and hold firmly to love of our country.

I don't believe a word the Bush administration has to say. This is just more bs that coincedently falls a week before the SPP summit in Canada. The SPP calls for "open borders" and "trusted travelers". What difference would a crackdown on employers matter then?
