    ALIPAC Responds to Frist's VOLPAC

    Senator Frist:

With all due respect, please do not send out messages that say you are "Against Amnesty". Your message should read "I am against Amnesty and Guest Worker". The American public is not buying this claim that Guest Worker is not Amnesty.

Right now, we have illegal aliens killing Americans and wreaking havoc on many of our citizens and systems. If you pass a Guest Worker Program that allows illegal aliens to stay in America then they will become Senator Bill Frist's Guest Workers that are killing Americans, taking American jobs, breaking hospitals and schools. Each lawmaker that votes for a bill with Guest Worker in it will then become permanently associated with the damage caused by name.

I urge you to shut down the discussion of this bill and simply kill this bill. The Senate has illustrated that now is not the time for you to consider this. The problem is not that we need new or adjusted laws. The problem is that YOU are not assuring the current laws are enforced.

How can you send out a message about the Rule of Law when you are not demanding our current laws be enforced and seek to supplant the current laws with a new bill filled with disguised amnesties.

Do you know where the American public is on this Senator Frist? You do know that 70-80 percent of your likely voters want illegals deported? Do you care? Is the US Chamber of Commerce money so important to you that you would sell out America and Americans?

You need to put a stop to this now. I know where the American public is Senator Frist and we will be coming for each and every one for you that votes for any bill containing a Guest Worker provision or any measure that allows illegal aliens currently in the US to stay.

There is only one way out sir. You can't please everyone. The illegal aliens can't vote yet. The US Chamber cannot save you from the political wrath of a super majority of the AMERICAN public.

The only way out is to stand with the people you represent by securing our border, fining employers, removing benefits to illegals, and empowering our local police to enforce immigration law!

Tell the white house to do the job Bush swore an oath to do.

This will not stand Senator. We are ready to oppose what the Senate is doing and these tricky "I oppose Amnesty" word games with all we've got!

    William Gheen
    President, ALIPAC

Today the Senate will begin debate on my Secure America's Borders Act (SABA) bill
and tomorrow the first amendment offered will be the bill approved by the Judiciary
    Committee on Monday night.

In the coming days we will debate the merits of each. This debate will give
Americans the opportunity to hear all sides of this important issue.

I believe this is an important debate for us to have, and equally important for us
to act. For too long this problem has gone unaddressed and is now threatening our
    national and economic security.

As we enter into this debate, let me be clear with you where I stand:

We are a nation of immigrants built upon the rule of law. And so many legal
immigrants have played by the rules when coming to this country and making a life
for themselves and their families. We should not break faith with those who played
by the rules, so I will not support amnesty. We respect the rule of law and those
who made it here the right way, and are trying to make it here the right way, rather
than reward those who came here the wrong way.

America needs to secure her borders and we need real interior enforcement. Which is
why the bill I introduced prioritizes both as well as increases legal immigration,
and in doing each, honors our heritage as a nation of immigrants who value the rule
    of law.

I am pleased that the Judiciary committee bill has strong border enforcement
mechanisms - the inclusion of those in this bill is a big step in the right
    direction.

But we have much more work to do. The Senate will take the remainder of this week
and next to complete that work.

During the course of the upcoming debate, there will be many amendments offered.
Some of these amendments will be constructive and will bring us closer to
comprehensive immigration reform. However some of these amendments will propose
amnesty, weaken border security measures and strip away interior enforcement
    provisions. These we must oppose.

Our nation is one founded on the rule of law by generations upon generations of
immigrants. We should not have to choose between these founding principles.

In the end it is my hope that we have a bill which has strong enforcement mechanisms
and that addresses the humanitarian and economic crisis we are now facing.

Thank you, William. That was well worded and directly to the point. That's also very similar to the msgs. that I've been leaving with my reps.

This is ridiculous. Every time they say 'guest worker' or amnesty another fifteen million people pack up and head this way.

This president must be repudiated in EVERY way.

I just submitted this to him:

    Dear Majority Leader Frist,

We the people keep hearing you and many other politicians speak about "comprehensive" immigration reform, which all of us know is the new code word for Amnesty. Everytime I hear a politician use the word "comprehensive", I know they are talking about a so-called Guest Worker plan, which is nothing more than amnesty, regardless of what you wish to call it. We don't want "comprehensive" reform, we demand "enforcement", of our laws and our borders. We demand as the real citizens of this nation, a government that respects our wishes and not those who seek power or profit, at the expense of American sovereignty, traditions or ideals.

Enough with the code words and platitudes about needing to fix immigration, do the job you were sworn to do, and tell the President and the Senate, that "We the People" expect no less and no more. It is this government's sworn duty, starting with the President, to protect Americans. President Bush keeps saying how it is his job to protect Americans, well he can start by protecting us from invasion, as is written in the Constitution of the United States of America.

You can do your part by not allowing groups of business and special interest to determine the future of this nation by fiat, by passing legislation that suits them and not the true will of the people. Stand up for the real Americans, those who built this country and not those who wish to control it for their own gain, whether it be for votes or for profits.

I appreciate the difficulty of the challenge that may ensue, but we as true Americans have faced hardship before. I cannot believe that Americans would abandon our future generations opportunities for liberty and justice, as well as the very existence of this country, all for the sake of cheaper goods and services. If we can endure the harships of Civil War, a Great Depression and two World Wars, we can certainly endure any cost or sacrifice in order preserve the values and ideals that this nation was founded on, the rule of law and the virtues of democracy. A true democracy, whereby those who claim to represent us, do so for our best interests, and not for the sake of expedited convenience or worse, for their own personal gain.

    Sincerely,

    Daniel J Nippins

We don't need to "fix" immigratio, there is nothing terribly wrong with the legal immigration system. What we need to do is "fix" our government, which has been corrrupted by special intrests.

Here is my contribution. kind of doubt it gets printed - but I they have to READ it anyway!

Dear Senator Frist, I was so happy when I heard that you had submitted an enforcement only bill. But now we see that you will allow the Kennedy amnesty/shamnesty to be ammended to your bill. Sir, Amnesty = guestworker program = shamnesty = guestworker program = amnesty dressed up as something else = still amnesty.

Sir, the people are not fooled by dressing this pig up - its the same old pig we didn't want yesterday, we don't want today, and we won't want tomorrow.

Sir, WHAT is going to be done about mobs of illegals in our streets DESECRATING our flag? Why was our flag hung upside down under the flag of Mexico? Why has the media been told not to print the pictures of the reconquista sentiments espoused by these demonstrators? The American People will not forgive our government for this OUTRAGE!

Sir, what is going to be done about illegals being encouraged to vote on the GOP website? There are NO documents required to register to vote. Do you really believe that people who have lived and worked by manufacturing false documents will respect a registration process that requires no proof of citizenship. OUR ELECTION PROCESS WILL BE COMPROMISED THIS NOVEMBER. What are our government officials going to do about it? When you all have invited half of Mexico here and allowed them to vote, maybe you don't feel you will be answerable to the American people anymore, is that what is going on?

Sir, I am very disappointed that you have not taken the lead to STOP this amnesty/shamnesty guestworker program. We the American People will hold our elected officials responsible for these OUTRAGES perpetrated upon us.
