    Letter to my "new" Senator.

Some Democrats are trying to say, the turn over in Congress was due to the lack of comprehensive immigration reform, which is an out and out lie. What gave Congress to the Democrats was not based on their merits but on the flaws of the President. I’m disgusted by any Democrat reveling in a victory when it was actually an election by default.

Ohio is a little different. The Republicans were so corrupt, they deserved to lose. I voted for more Democrats in this election than I have in 15 years. However, I expect a conservative and financially responsible govt.

Comprehensive immigration reform is not what Americans want and that is not why the Democrats took Congress. Americans were upset at the Republicans about the war and other matters but they are not for guest worker programs aka immigration reform. It’s pretty clear to everyone but George Bush, the OBL and the Democrats that America does not want more illegal aliens, increased immigration or any thing less than protection of our borders and enforcement.

Anyway, the point is illegal immigration enforcement didn’t cost any one the election. The majority of voters still do not want comprehensive immigration reform, guest worker programs, increased visas or amnesty. Americas still want the illegal aliens deported and our laws enforced. Let's not forget funding for the fence. Remember, it's construction came with a deadline and I expect it to be met.

I’ve also inserted an article from the Middletown Journal. It tells of Kevin Barnhill being murdered by two illegal aliens. Two men that entered the United States without visas. A lack of secure borders enable these criminals to murder Kevin. If you support comprehensive immigration, you support criminals like this.

2006 (First Quarter) INS/FBI Statistical Report on Undocumented ImmigrantsCRIME STATISTICS

95% of warrants for murder in Los Angeles are for illegal aliens.
83% of warrants for murder in Phoenix are for illegal aliens.
86% of warrants for murder in Albuquerque are for illegal aliens.
75% of those on the most wanted list in Los Angeles, Phoenix and Albuquerque are illegal aliens.
24.9% of all inmates in California detention centers are Mexican nationals here illegally
40.1% of all inmates in Arizona detention centers are Mexican nationals here illegally
48.2% of all inmates in New Mexico detention centers are Mexican nationals here illegally
29% (630,000) convicted illegal alien felons fill our state and federal prisons at a cost of $1.6 billion annually
53% plus of all investigated burglaries reported in California, New Mexico, Nevada, Arizona and Texas are perpetrated by illegal aliens.
50% plus of all gang members in Los Angeles are illegal aliens from south of the border.
71% plus of all apprehended cars stolen in 2005 in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada and California were stolen by Illegal aliens or “transport coyotes".
47% of cited/stopped drivers in California have no license, no insurance and no registration for the vehicle. Of that 47%, 92% are illegal aliens.
63% of cited/stopped drivers in Arizona have no license, no insurance and no registration for the vehicle. Of that 63%, 97% are illegal aliens.
66% of cited/stopped drivers in New Mexico have no license, no insurance and no registration for the vehicle. Of that 66% 98% are illegal aliens.

BIRTH STATISTICS 380,000 plus “anchor babies” were born in the U.S. in 2005 to illegal alien parents, making 380,000 babies automatically U.S.citizens.97.2% of all costs incurred from those births were paid by the American taxpayers.66% plus of all births in California are to illegal alien Mexicans on Medi-Cal whose births were paid for by taxpayers

I strongly urge you to oppose the President’s Guest Worker Program, for it offers a path to citizenship, which is merely amnesty for illegal aliens. I voted against Senator Mike DeWine because he supported the President and his plan. I will not support any elected representative that gives any type of amnesty to illegal aliens.

People all over this nation are struggling with this problem. They are attempting to make a positive impact on some of the root causes. The citizens of Farmer’s Branch, Tx. just passed new legislation against illegal aliens. Bill Barnhill, Kevin’s father, has formed Citizens for Legal Communities, people are demanding enforcement of our immigration laws. People want employers to verify social security numbers. Fight for the middle class, no amnesty, build the fence, no fast track, no more tree trade !

    Regards,

Fantastic letter, but I'm having a difficult time comprehending your position on this:

    no more tree trade !
Exactly who are we trading trees with? Perhaps that knowledge would better help me to understand why you're against "tree" trade.

Seriously, that is a very good letter! Hope he reads it.

Speaking of "free" trade. Did you guys and gals here that the Vietnam free trade agreement failed to pass the U.S. House last night? Perhaps that is only the beginning of the unfair "free" trade agreements that are destroying the American middle class (loss of American jobs)! Additionally, I heard that the big three automakers met with Bush today to discuss his global free trade agenda. Perhaps something good will come from that meeting. I'm not going to hold my breath though, because I don't know exactly what was discussed in that meeting.

I don't like the idea of any branch of government 'meeting' with any corporate or commerce leaders. Our government should not be involved with businesses unless businesses are doing something illegal. I believe that's the only time there should be interaction. Corporate leaders have no business in our executive chambers.

The big highway is needed to take all the trees from the US and Canada for China and everything else small enough to move.
