I'm at a loss; does ICE actually even care when you call to report illegals??

How To Report illegal aliens, illegal immigrants, employers that hire illegal aliens, smugglers, human trafficking, and immigrant gang activity.
Please keep in mind that these resources and contact numbers are NOT complaint lines (Save your complaints for law makers). You should only use these numbers to report suspected criminal situations. Most of these agencies offer bilingual services and allow you to make reports confidentially or anonymously. You can use these resources to report illegal aliens, report employers that hire illegal aliens, report illegal border crossings, report document and tax fraud, and other legal issues. Keep in mind that most of our immigration enforcement agencies are under staffed and under funded. Please share with us your experiences and follow up on cases you report. One of ALIPAC's goals is to increase the political will and support from Congress for our immigration enforcement officers.
Note: Please gather as much information as possible before calling in a report. Depending on the nature of your report, you should gather as many accurate names, addresses, phone numbers, and details such as vehicle tag numbers etc... before you call. You should also make notes on times and dates of events and have this information in hand.
YOU SHOULD ONLY FILE A REPORT IF YOU HAVE SOLID EVIDENCE OF ILLEGAL ACTIVITY.

Make sure if you call you explain why you think the people are illegal. Describe their actions as best as possible. I will give you an example if what I did. The company who does the cleaning and condo maintenance where I live hire illegals. Many of them are bused in to work. There was an incident where police were called and one maintenance employee only had Guatamalan ID and no American ID at all. We also have teens working here who should be in high school during the day and not at work.
It may also take sometime for ICE to respond. I have been calling on a regular basis on the illegal in my condo building. He was picked up by ICE and was given 30 days to leave. Months later he is still here. The police go there often but they are not allowed to ask immigrantion status and ignore the deportation order comments unless the person is arrested.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

Call the ICE Hotline. 1-866-347-2423. They ask a few questions (Total number of employees? How many are illegal? Do you work there? What is the address of the business?)
ICE is reportedly understaffed and may be slow to respond. This may be true, since in the past they were not faced with deporting millions; they also have other responsibities such as checking suspicious cargo coming in to the US. Just take it as it comes."Men of low degree are vanity, Men of high degree are a lie. " David

You can also report illegal employers on a website called wehireillegals.com. I think that is the correct address. You can type in all your info and they will contact ICE for you. They alos list illegal employers on the national and state levels.

ICE has got priorities just as any other law enforcement agency. The number one priority are criminals such as gang members and those arrested by police departments who call them once they learn that the person is an illegal. Then they go after those with deportation orders or overstayed visas. The last ones are the illegals who have not been caught yet. Depending on your complaint depends on how long it would take. In South Florida it does take time as we have so many illegals and the majority of them have overstayed visas.
