I am utterly angry and frustrated that the super highway is going as planned.

We American's have no say in the matter and if they build this corridor which seems more than likely, a lot of farms, businesses, and homes will be lost. Spain will own it and the tolls.

If I have figured it out the way they are going to go on this corridor, I will lose my home as well.

If you want to check this out, go to www.nascocorridor.com it has it all there and who is involved.

    What can we do?

And I thought the Supreme Courts decision on iminent domain was for New London, CT's waterfront development projects.......NOT!

Just curious Kess, have you heard that the Spanish/Aussie conglomerant is buying up as many local newspapaers as possible along the proposed corridor? Why would they want local newspapers?....hmmmm

Oh by the way Kess, "Welcome." I too have recently found this organization. Lots of informed folks here.

20 yrs. ago during the last illegal immigration debate we had only the phones to call our reps., the TV, newspapers, and snail mail. This time we have e-mail, the internet, and talk radio. They know it, and they are trying to head us off at the pass. Sorta like Custer's last stand. Now or never. If we were to be granted 5 more yrs. to organize and prepare, these proposals would not stand a chance.

Keep their feet to the fire.

    Send the bums home.

I don't think Texas can keep herself from sinking - much less do anything about this.

We are looking for another state -

This from a lady who flew home from another state while in labor because she didn't want her son born outside Texas -------------

It's not just Texans who must fight this, the entire country must fight this, everybody has to voice opposition to your senators, congressman, write your governors and state assemblyman, your County Supervisors etc the more people know about this the better.

You are exactly right but the highway starts in Texas and we need Gov. Perry gone he is a big obstacle and only the people of Texas can remove him.
Everybody should be working on their state Legislatures and we have been doing that in Idaho and Idaho is the only state to send a Resolution to the president and congress letting them know we will not be standing with or for the NAU and we want oversight from congress on this issue. Luckly their are 14 other states that are working on legislation at this time.
