    The softening of America

To start with, so many "south of the border" people are now wanting some identity, i.e, if they are not mexican, they don't want to be called that. If they are not puerto rican, they don't want to be called that. So, I will call all of them mexican for now.

There are many claims that the media is controled by whomever, but I have been noticing even more "mexican's" in commercial's and on tv shows lately? Most always in a heart wrenching way, or a way that makes you want to accept them? Am I alone in this observation?
    .
I think that since the illegal immigration issue has gained much visible light in the last year, that the media is using the mexican's more in tv shows and commercials to "soften" the viewers. It seems that each week that goes by, I am seeing more of them? It's not that I am more aware than before, I am not, it's that I see what I see.
    .
I saw a NEW commercial for Home Depot tonight that focussed the entire commercial on a mexican man wanting part of his home to look like what he remembered in mexico. It was not the usual spot where they walk someone through the store while they tell the person what they want, it was basically a mini biography of this guy, kids and all, even a picture of mama.
    .
Home Depot is well known for allowing illegals to hang around the lot to get day work, but I think this went a little to far to PUSH their views?
    .
The african american's fought for the oportunity to be included in these things, and rightly so, but this is an obvious attempt to "soften America" for what is certainly coming. Am I on track here?
Have you ever stopped to think, and forget to start again?

Alone? Not at all. We`re all seeing this. It`s like another "Affimative Action" but for non-Citizens.
American citizens have to bow down to unwelcome, non citizen Illegal Immigrants. It pisses me off everytime I see Illegals take front seat over us.

    Nightowl,

You're right. Plus, have you noticed BofA's opportunity commercial?
    AND all the globalist commercials?

They have been doing this in Miami for years. In many commercials for local businesses you often see little of whites or African Americans unless it is a hospital commercial. Ford had commercials geared at both African Americans and Hispanics at one point.
