This one kills me in particular because it's about Arlington, the city in which we are closely located to. (We also use this walking path as well). Arlington is known for its wealthy, educated, mostly white population of liberal citizens, but the county is slowly being invaded by illegal immigrants of all kinds. Arlington liberals love to flout the wonders of diversity. We were at dinner with a young couple the other night who were in awe of the "diversity" of the county and how great it was that their kids would be exposed to it growing up.

Of course, I wanted to vomit ...but you look at this kind of stuff and wonder how long the great tolerance for diversity will last.

I was at least glad that a few citizens spoke up against J. Walter Tejada, one of the city's board of supervisors, who himself is an immigrant from El Salvador. He also has no other job except that of city councilman, something that seems rather strange. Tejada has been adamant about Arlington remaining a city that welcomes immigrants in light of all the events in Prince William County to the south. Such a joke.

Sounds like Mr. Tejada may have 'other income'. It could be LaRaza or even our very own federal government.

As I said, every day we wait for our government to do something and hold our breath until election time, these people are getting themselves into places of authority and influence.

This is so sad. We've had a few murders here on some our bike and walk paths. Mostly stabbings but we did have one where they burned the poor girl. I know most were done by illegals but not sure about the burned girl. Can't walk in your neighborhood....just no-where safe anymore. I'm one that enjoys my alone time.....I'm not a big one for constant group activities when I just want to run on quick errand or breath some air and walk my dog. I hate to think of a society where you can't ever be alone without being at the mercy of criminals.

The church my son and his family attend is building a new church - on the outskirts of town. My son was upset because the building they have is quite large enough, plenty of parking, etc.

The area around it is made up mostly of modest 2 and 3 bedroom homes. These homes once had elderly owning them or rental units for starter homes. They are now almost all HIspanic - and you can pretty much read that illegal - in that town.

We witnessed some possible skullduggery going on in the parking lot one night while waiting for grandaughter to finish with her church group.

They church has rightly decided the area would not be safe for children.

They will probably make the church a Hispanic church and support it - but at least the kids might be safer.
