I am from Barletta's area, and am in the district he's running for. When he ran for mayor if Hazleton, he won it hands down, taking somewhere in the neighborhood of 80%.

His opponent, Kanjorski, while a 12-TERM incumbant, is basically hated by everyone around here, and it's only gotten worse since the news of his $15 million taxpayer-funded donation to his nephews' business came out.

The only chance Kanj has is because he's a Dem, and PA is heavily Dem. (gag me)

This would explain my signature on ALIPAC ...

I am not working on any campaign. I just have this itching need to spread truth and reality around.

Good. Did you know that when he won the Mayor of the Year Award in PA, that most of them didn't know he was running for Congress. They were glad but didn't know.
