Don't forget that it was Jeb's cousin that released the tape......
MITT SLITHERS OUT TO JOIN FULL SCALE NUCLEAR ONSLAUGHT ON TRUMP

    OCTOBER 8, 2016|
    BY DONN MARTEN

Like a drooling pedophile, he just can’t help himself. Jilted loser Mitt Romney has slimed out of his hole to join in on the Trump “Pussy” tape onslaught. This is the week when the establishment is going to empty the arsenals in a last ditch effort to fell Trumpzilla short of the gates to the imperial city. During the now fifteen-months running war on Trump there have been a number of furious, coordinated smear campaigns such as the John McCain “war hero” dust up, the Megyn Kelly phantom vaginal blood insanity and the Judge Curiel and Khzir Khan spectacles, none of them however as furious as this.

Republicans are lining up in droves to call for Trump to drop out of the race a month before the election despite the inconvenient fact that without a candidate that Hillary Clinton could just skip the formalities and move into the White House next week. Nebraska’s preeminent Never Trumper Ben Sasse is being hailed by the media and lo and behold – the Grand Poobah of petulance himself, Willard “Mitt” Romney has clambered atop his molehill of morality in order to deliver a blistering sermon denouncing the demonic nominee of his own party.

The Hill reports that “Romney: Trump’s ‘vile’ comments on women ‘corrupt America’s face to the world’”:

Mitt Romney joined the growing number of Republican voices strongly condemning Donald Trump for vulgar comments he made about women in a leaked tape from 2005.

“Hitting on married women? Condoning assault? Such vile degradations demean our wives and daughters and corrupt America’s face to the world,” Romney tweeted.

The former GOP presidential nominee’s rebuke follows similarly sharp reactions from RNC chairman Reince Priebus and former GOP presidential candidate Jeb Bush.

“No woman should ever be described in these terms or talked about in this manner. Ever,” Priebus said in a statement.

“As the grandfather of two precious girls, I find that no apology can excuse away Donald Trump’s reprehensible comments degrading women,” Bush wrote on Twitter.

October 7, 2016 was the day that the election ceased being about the issues – not that it ever was- and the voters will be asked to deliver a national referendum on the appropriateness of the popular slang term for a female reproductive organ. It is the demarcation point when the political establishment even pretended to treat the voters as though they were people of even a minimal degree of intelligence and the nation may as well just be voting on who gets potty breaks during second grade recess. Idiocracy here we come!

The RAT’s are running for the lifeboats now and the ranks are growing by the minute. Trump is going to now be crucified upon the cross of political correctness for his mortal sin of daring to think that he was going to threaten the establishment and dare to talk about putting America first. His entire platform is now in shambles as the media is not going to spend one miserable second on wars, globalism, amnesty, the TPP, a border wall, offshoring, terrorism, anarchy in the streets, income inequality, criminals in high places nor Obama’s abuse of power among dozens of other things.

Americans deserve better or maybe they don’t, they elected Obama twice and then failed to demand accountability by calling for their elected representatives to impeach the bastard.

For those who have suspected that the two party system is a myth that has been conceived to cover up a grand fraud that both parties are now practically identical and owned lock stock and barrel by big moneyed special interests, the pussy posse’s bipartisan scalping party should offer cold comfort that you are right.

One thing though and that is with this last ditch, all-in salvo against Trump shows that the establishment is terrified enough that Trump can still take Hillary to the woodshed if it comes down to actually letting them vote that they are not going to take any chances. Look for the calls for Trump to drop out to multiply like rabbits and who knows, the Republican party may even go to the extreme degree of actually kicking him out.

Just when you think that it’s gotten as crazy as it can, the intensity gets jacked up another ten levels.

American democracy is now officially in shambles.

How the shocking hot mic tape of Donald Trump was exposed

    by Brian Stelter @brianstelterOctober 7, 2016: 11:54 PM ET

WARNING: This story contains graphic language.

The videotape of Donald Trump that is shaking up the presidential election sat forgotten on a shelf at NBC's "Access Hollywood" until just a few days ago.

On Monday, according to an NBC source, one of the entertainment newsmagazine's producers remembered Trump's 2005 taping session with former "Access" co-host Billy Bush.

Trump's offensive comments about Alicia Machado were still making waves. And the Associated Press had just published a detailed story quoting former "Apprentice" employees saying Trump "was lewd and sexist" while taping the reality show.

With that in mind, a producer dug up the tape.

By mid-week, executive producer Rob Silverstein and his producing team had taken a look at its contents, and discovered that among other things it included a moment in which Trump told Bush, "And when you're a star, they let you do it. You can do anything... Grab them by the pussy. You can do anything."

It also included Trump saying he once tried and failed to have sex with Nancy O'Dell, who was Bush's co-host at the time.

After reviewing the tape, "we were debating what to do" with it, an NBC source explained.

By Friday morning, Silverstein had decided to broadcast it, and a script had been written. The story was not slated to air on Friday night's edition of the show, however.

That means the earliest it would have aired is Monday night -- after Sunday's presidential debate.

Another NBC source confirmed that "Access" was working on a story, and that NBC News knew about it, but said that as of Friday morning the story "wasn't quite finalized."

That's when Silverstein was notified that David Fahrenthold of The Washington Post had come into possession of a copy.

Fahrenthold, who has been reporting for months on Trump's charitable donations and the Trump Foundation, was contacted around 11 a.m. on Friday by a source who told him about the footage, according to a Post story about how he got this scoop.

Fahrenthold asked NBC for comment about the tape around noon Eastern time. The producers at "Access," which is based in California, were blindsided by Fahrenthold's call.

According to the Post, Farenthold knows the identity of the person who leaked the video to him, but will not disclose it.

Sources at NBC believe someone inside NBC downloaded the footage from one of the network's video servers. The tape was accessible internally since the "Access" story was already in the works.

Silverstein told Page Six on Friday afternoon,
"I don't know who leaked it. I have no idea."

After the Post called NBC for comment, NBC News staff hurried to finish a story about it. So did the "Access" staff.

On Friday night's edition of the newsmagazine, co-host Natalie Morales reported on the tape, linking it to Monday's investigation by The A.P.

Morales also noted that Trump has appeared on the show "hundreds of times" over the years.

"In the course of reporting on Mr. Trump, we have reviewed much of our own footage," she said.

So does "Access" have other tapes of Trump speaking in vulgar terms? One of the NBC sources said, "Not that I know of."

O'Dell and "Entertainment Tonight," the show she now co-anchors, both declined to comment. But Brad Bessey, the former executive producer of "Entertainment Tonight," said in a tweet that O'Dell is "is classy, beautiful, family-focused, intelligent & a great journalist. Above the sexist objectification of @realDonaldTrump."

Trump’s Lewd Comments on Audio Could be Even More Problematic For NBC’s Billy Bush

    by Lindsey Ellefson | 5:28 pm, October 7th, 2016
    VIDEO 298

If all you were to watch about the latest Donald Trump scandal involving his lewd comments about women were this segment from MSNBC, you might miss a key part of the story.

Here’s the audio: Trump lewd comments about women caught on tape, @KatyTurNBC reports. More tonight@NBCNightlyNews. https://t.co/kJejRixUit

    — Bradd Jaffy (@BraddJaffy) October 7, 2016

There is NBC’s Katy Tur calling the person Trump was talking to, Billy Bush, “Access Hollywood‘s Billy Bush.” She isn’t wrong, of course: Bush worked for AH in 2005 when the recorded conversation took place.

Where does he work now, though?

NBC’s Today Show, that’s where. He’s been a co-host of the 9 am hour on the popular early-morning show since May of this year.

While NBC and MSNBC are being careful not to link Bush’s former comments to their company too often during this coverage, executives are going to have big decisions to make in the coming days. Sure, this may have an effect on Trump and his campaign, but his disparaging comments about women are nothing new. Bush, on the other hand, is on an early-morning show –theoretically a news show — with a massive female audience. That he backed up Trump’s assertion that famous men “can do anything” to women — with “phony tits” and without — including “[grabbing] them by the pussy,” will matter to those viewers and so, it matters to executives.

It isn’t as though Bush’s pre-NBC record was squeaky clean, of course. Back in 2011, he did say on Access Hollywood that Lindsay Lohan has the “best boobs,” so the fact that he agreed with Trump that stars really can do “whatever [they] want” with women isn’t that shocking. The Lohan comment was a tiny drop in a big pond full of generalized celebrity commentary, though, whereas Bush’s comments are now front and center in a rollicking Presidential election that has heavily focused on the GOP nominee’s comments about women and their bodies.

Trump has released a short apology on the matter. It remains to be seen what Bush will do and what NBC will do, too, but stick with Mediaite for the latest.

    UPDATE — 5:30 p.m. EST:

No statement has come from Bush yet, perhaps because he — or someone above him in the chain of command at NBC — deleted his Twitter account.
Here is what it looks like now:

Here is the most recent Wayback archive of the account, to show that @BillyBush was definitely once his handle:

Note the Trump criticism in his tweets.

His Facebook page remains active, and though it does not contain a statement from the host, it has attracted a few comments.

    Read that last one again.
Like we said, don’t expect NBC to sit around doing nothing when it comes to Bush and his involvement in today’s big scandal.

    UPDATE — 7:26 p.m. ET
    :

Bush has issued a statement about his involvement in the Trump conversation.

    UPDATE –– 12:20 a.m. ET
    :

Trump has apologized. Watch the video here.

Billy Bush, embroiled in Trump tape scandal, is asked to take a break from 'Today' show

    Stephen Battaglio

“Today” co-anchor Billy Bush has been asked to take a break in light of his role in the leaked recording of his lewd conversation with Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump.

An NBC News spokesperson confirmed to the Los Angeles Times that Bush will not be at work Monday on the NBC show’s 9 a.m. hour. The decision comes after a weekend in which audio of him exchanging sexist remarks with Trump ran in heavy rotation on cable news.

“Today” 9 a.m. co-host Al Roker, who was scheduled to be off for the week due to a medical issue, is now coming in for Monday’s program.

How long the break will be remains an open question.

“Today” staffers are hearing he could be off for a week — or not return at all.

NBC News executives said Saturday that there are no plans to suspend or fire Bush over the leaked conversation that took place before he and Trump taped a 2005 segment for “Access Hollywood.”

But the situation now appears to be fluid.

The exchange, in which Trump profanely boasts about his ability to grope women with impunity because he is a celebrity, has led many Republican politicians to withdraw their support of him as the party’s presidential standard-bearer. Many called for him to step down. Trump issued a videotaped apology late Friday night for the remarks and has said he has no plans to drop out of the race. He meets Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton in their second debate on Sunday night.

In the leaked video Bush is heard laughing and egging Trump on, even as the mogul revealed his attempt to seduce Bush’s “Access Hollywood” co-host Nancy O’Dell. He delivered his own apology Friday.

"Obviously I'm embarrassed and ashamed,” Bush, 44, said in a statement issued by NBC News. “It's no excuse, but this happened eleven years ago — I was younger, less mature, and acted foolishly in playing along. I'm very sorry.”

But as the story continues to the engulf the campaign, Bush is now indelibly attached to it. On ABC’s “This Week,” Republican Rep. Charlie Dent of Pennsylvania referred to the tape as “the Billy Bush video.”

Bush’s involvement could prove a long-term problem as morning show audiences are not always forgiving. Harsh comments from “Today” fans appeared on the program’s Facebook page, many calling for his firing.

“They will no longer receive my ratings or buying power when they have this guy as a host,” wrote Elizabeth Fahy of Cranford, N.J. “He is disgracing the women and daughters he wants to watch him. Count me out for now, ‘Today,’ until Billy Bush is gone as a host.”

After 12 years as co-host of “Access,” Bush moved his family from Los Angeles to New York City to join “Today” in August. He is a co-host for the program’s third hour with Roker and Tamron Hall.

Bush’s arrival led to speculation that he is being groomed to eventually succeed long-time “Today” stalwart Matt Lauer, who has been in the 7 to 9 a.m. co-anchor chair since 1997.

Bush’s misogynistic repartee with Trump will likely be a major setback in attaining that goal.

NBC News executives were not overly concerned about Bush’s presence on the tape with Trump when it was first reported by the Washington Post on Friday. But the story escalated Saturday, sending “Today” staffers looking for answers on Bush’s status and how the controversy will be addressed on the program.

Reaction to Bush’s vulgar comments cannot be taken lightly as “Today” has had issues with female viewers in the past.

After Ann Curry tearfully left the show after 13 months as co-anchor, many press accounts portrayed Lauer as being behind her ouster. The narrative led many viewers to tune out, ending the “Today’s” 16-year reign as the most watched morning program.

One talent agent who spoke on the condition of anonymity said it would have been difficult for NBC News to dismiss or suspend Bush for something he said 11 years ago. The only option would have been to buy out his recently signed multi-million dollar contract.

A dismissal or suspension would have also risked opening the door to scrutiny of sexist remarks or behavior of other NBC News employees over the years.

But it's just like you to twist the facts, statements and laws to make some point contrary to the best interests of our forum, our goals, and our mission.

To be a good activist, you have to be all in and keep your eyes on the ball.

Pussy Gate will fail, just like every other phony attack flop these perverts and weirdos have tried to wage against Donald Trump.

I mean think about it. Men "offended" by pussy talk???!!! Where did these weirdos come from??!! All I can say is keep them the hell away from me and get them the hell out of Congress. Creepy is what they are. CREEPY! ABNORMAL! WEIRDOS!!
I haven't twisted anything and being all in doesn't mean we can just ignore the truth when it is not convenient to our agenda.

“I moved on her and I failed. I’ll admit it,” Trump can be heard saying. “I did try and f–k her. She was married. And I moved on her very heavily. In fact, I took her out furniture shopping. She wanted to get some furniture. I said, ‘I’ll show you where they have some nice furniture.’
“I just start kissing them,” he says. “I don’t even wait. And when you’re a star they let you do it. You can do anything.”
This goes deeper than his comment about being able to grab someone by the crotch. This revelation of information hasn't changed my mind, but it's important that we, as a matter of decency, don't accept this kind of thing as being acceptable. Let's just be truthful about it and put it behind us.

I'm not offended by Trump's statements on the tape. I'm offended by the unauthorized release of a tape of a private conversation in violation of his business contract with NBC and the rule of law for political purposes.

I was just as offended by the release of a recording of Monica Lewinski's private phone conversation by Linda Tripp. I thought that was wrong at the time and still do.

I was just as offended by the release of the Nixon tapes during the Watergate scandal. I thought that was wrong at the time and still do.

There has to be a line that our media and politicians don't cross and the public release of recordings of private conversations should be protected, not exposed. If there is a prosecution of a crime in a court of law, then both the recording and the source who releases it may at times need to be revealed and presented in court in accordance with the rules of evidence and justice.

I remember the time when the Shield Law was passed that protected the anonymity of media sources, I was in college at the time, and even then as a young person I couldn't support that law, because to me then and now, it's a ticket and a free pass to dishonest journalism, fabrications, and public framing of innocent people, especially public officials which become distortions of our entire political process like what we saw during Watergate and what we're seeing happen now.

So when people want to claim "this goes deeper than that", if you aren't referring to the injustice of what's happening now, then I don't know what "deeper" you're referring to or what "truth" you're talking about.

Oleg, Hillary isn't fake. She's incompetent which forces her to be dishonest to cover her tracks. Donald Trump isn't fake either. He's a competent, accomplished person who for 35 years has been disturbed by the anti-American policies of the US government and wants to fix it. A surprising number of people don't want it fixed, they like things the way they are, but most don't like it, and want it fixed. We'll see how many want one but not the other on November 8th.

In this US election, the only people who are "fake" are the Hillary Shrills posing as "journalists" working for a CORRUPT MEDIA.
