Juan Hernandez uses racial slur against Italians on Fox

I am so freaking livid!
I was watching Fox report with Sheppard Smith.
He was discussing the O'Reilly show last night about the blow up between O'Reilly and Rivera.
He had as guests Sherrif Arpaio of Arizona and Juan Hernandez (The smirking spin master)
Sherrif Arpaio was explaining that even though Mexicans have been crossing the borders for 20 years, it is now time to enforce the laws.
And I could not believe what Hernandez just said to Arpaio. He asked him where his people came from. Arpaio explained that his family came from Italy legally. Hernandez said they they were WOPS. With Out Papers. That there was no legal immigration at that time. I am so offended right now! Sherrif Arpaio seemed stunned that he said that and said that that was offensive and if he called Hernandez' people a derrogatory name like that he would catch heck for it.
The ever smirking Hernandez explained that HIS people were Americans.


I am stunned and sickened.
That was a very low and very disgustiong remark and I am sickened that Sheppard Smith did not call him on it! In fact Sheppard seemed very much to agree with Hernandez's position.
My grandfather came into this country from Italy THRU ELLIS ISLAND...and not by sneaking across the border in the dead of night! My grandfather worked his butt off all his life and never asked for a dime of assistance. My grandfather lived out in the sunlight and not in the shadows. He took no ones identity. He did not live out side the law. He spoke English and he was given the privilege of citizenship of which he was very proud. My grandfather was the American story. Juan Hernandez is a putz!

I saw that was well. I was proud of the Sheriff, he stood his ground and said he was a cop and he enforces the law no matter what! He also put Hernandez in his place for making that remark. Sheppard does always seem pro illegal and yes Hernandez is a always disgusting to watch! :x

Juan Hernandez is so ignorant. Anyone who has done any genealogy knows that all immigrants were "documented". What we have going on with the border doesn't even compare.
. I wish people would speak up about it when they use the excuse we all immigrated. If we did then there will be some paper work to check on.

At what time? Did Sherrif Arpaio give a specific date of when his ancestors immigrated to the United States? Since I don't know the date we're talking about, I'm going to assume there were no immigration laws in the United States when Arpaio's ancestors came. It's funny how the pro-criminal alien crowd likes to skirt around the "law" issue when discussing immigration. We now have laws against illegal immigration and they need enforced!

In all fairness, WOP did not mean that the immigrant in question was hear illegally, but rather that he did not have papers from his country of origin. When registering immigrants at Ellis Island, some documentation of identity was requested. The fact that a large number of Italian immigrants around the turn of the last century had no such documentation resulting in their immigration papers being stamped WOP (without papers) led to the derogatory acronym "wop" being applied to Italian immigrants at large.

Wonder what Hernandez would call my family, Being from a mix of Eastern European Heritages. From Germany, to the Carpathian Mountains in the Ukraine.

My Great Uncle went off to war even though Packard got him a deferment from service. But he wouldn't let that stand in his way. He was sent to Europe, and N. Africa, where he participated in the landings of Operation Torch, and he was a combat medic. He landed on the beaches of Sicily, Southern Italy, and since he had the experience under his belt, he went in with the second wave at Normandy. He then participated in the actions of the Bocade Hedgerows, and marched 48 hours with no hot food, and no sleep, or rest to help with relieving the Airborne at Bastonge in the Battle of the Bulge, finally ending the war in Czechoslovakia with Gen. Patton. Being he was 1st generation born in the United States, the Germans would have executed him as a traitor had he been captured.

Grampa was a Navy man, and he was on the Yorktown at Coral Sea, and Midway, and later he was stationed on the Essex. He too survived the war, and was in Tokyo Bay for the signing of the Unconditional Surrender of the Japanese Empire to end the hostilities of WWII.

My other grampa was an immigrant from Krakow Poland, and because his English wasn't very good, he had to spend a lot of time in English classes, and had no accent when he was done. He was on a train to the west coast to embark for the invasion of the Japanese Homeisland of Honshu when the word came through that the surrender had been achieved. And his family left Poland only 6 weeks before Hitler's forces invaded on Sept. 1, 1939. So I really wonder what kind of remarks Mr. Hernandez would have about them, or what they helped to accomplish with their sacrifices.

And yet I don't hear anyone who believes in securing our nation and it's soverenty, talk with a terrible disdain towards people who emigrate here properly, and only lash out by those who tear our country apart by their disdain for America, and the American People. We the American People didn't start it. But when you treat us with terrible disdain, how can you not expect a response that can sometimes be vile in it's nature? Yes we can all admit our guilt, but it's only human in nature, and then we get the race card thrown in our faces, when it has nothing to do with race.

I feel so much pride being an American. I raise my children up in that way too. They know they are the luckiest kids in the world because they are American. Maybe the reason we are so proud is because our ancestors were so proud of America and passed that love onto us! When you earn something (citizenship) it means so much more to you. It is an accomplishment. So you treasure it. This is why we have so much trouble with people that come her without our permission, and mistreat our country and our values.
Maybe they can't understand our devotion to our country and our love because they don't have that same love. If their parents came here illegally and raised them in the shadows, like criminals always hiding from the system, how would they feel great pride in being here? How could they feel great love for something they want but refuse to work for.
America is not a treasure to them. It is prize they have won by sneaking in and beating the system. Illegals even if given amnesty will never understand the pride and the love of America like we do, because they took her unasked. You further aggravated the situation between Americans and illegals and at least for me, you energized me to fight even harder to make sure that our laws benefit American citizens and not criminals stealing in from other countries. Your use of genteel language and that slick smile of yours isn't fooling anyone. Americans are on to you. We are on to the scam being perpatrated against the American people in the name of the SSP and the NAU. Oh yes, we do know about this. Here is my letter to Shepperd Smith, not sure if I could be so nice emailing Juan Hernandez, he irritates me as is, I know I would go off on him on this one.

As for the "without papers", none of mine had papers, they came as early as 1634, and the last in were before there was an Ellis Island, albeit they still had to have permission to get off of the ship and then had to sign a declalration of their loyalty to America (they disembarked their ship the day President Lincoln was shot). Mr. Hernandez has shown himself for who he is.

I was appalled to hear that Juan Hernandez would blatantly insult Sheriff Joe Arpaio, with a racial slur, right there on your show, while you sat by and did nothing. I believe you owe Sheriff Arpaio an on air apology by you.

Sheriff Arpaio is doing an excellent job in Maricopa county Arizona, combating the illegal aliens and all of the woes it has brought upon the people of that county. Mr. Arpaio has shown decency in his dealing with these law breakers. Mr. Hernandez has shown himself for what he is, an open borders supporter with preferance for only the illegal Latino people he supports, in others words, Juan Hernandez has shown himself to be the racist he claims those ,wanting illegal immigration stopped, are.

8O UHMM, I think my family was illegal :cry: They came from Scotland in 1688 on their own merchant ship, no medical check up, no papers, only goods I think alot of people where happy to get. Two other grandfathers one from Scotland one from England were here around 1700 so I doubt they had papers either. 8O What does that make me?? An American citizen!!

Your Relitives came through Elliis Island and it was not easy for them, they had Health check ups and if anyone was sick they did not get in this country.
America was also looking for citizens to build United States, we did not have much of a population. The Italian people have helped build this country.
This is a different world today, it is stupid to even compare the two different times, we have an immigration system in place because we need some control over the population today. These illegals are sneaking in to our country in the middle of the night , no health checks their children are sitting next to ours
in our schools, we have a right to worry about their safety. there are so many reasons it is just a reality we have to have some control.

I was watching the show live when Juan H.made his remark and I was stunned until I thought it over a little.I think maybe he just didn't realize the negative meaning as the word is used by some as a slur.In other words he used this word in ignorance.At least it appears that way.

The sheriff was outnumbered on that program.I'm dissappointed in Sheppard S.He came across as an enabler.We all know that Juan is an amnesty promoter.I thought the sheriff showed class,knowledge,judgement,and of course had the moral highground.
