Palin: I'll run 'if there's nobody else to do it'

    By Entertainment Weekly

Sounds like Sarah Palin is getting closer to a presidential run.

"If there's nobody else to do it, then of course I would believe that we should do this," Palin tells Entertainment Tonight.

Palin also told Mary Hart that a presidential run is "going to entail a discussion with my family [and] a real close look at the lay of the land, to consider whether there are those with that common sense, conservative, pro-Constitution passion, whether there are already candidates out there who can do the job ... or whether there's nobody willing to do it, to make the tough choices and not care what the critics are going to say about you, just going forward according to what I think the priorities should be."

Video of the interview is here.

Of course, the 2012 Republican presidential nomination is not Palin's for the taking -- as evidenced by comments from former George W. Bush political adviser Karl Rove.

"There are high standards that the American people have for it [the presidency] and they require a certain level of gravitas, and they want to look at the candidate and say 'that candidate is doing things that gives me confidence that they are up to the most demanding job in the world,'" Rove told the Daily Telegraph newspaper.

Rove also took a shot at Palin's new reality television show about Alaska.

"With all due candor, appearing on your own reality show on the Discovery Channel, I am not certain how that fits in the American calculus of 'that helps me see you in the Oval Office,'"Rove said.

Palin, who ran for vice president on John McCain's ticket in 2008, also got lukewarm reviews from McCain's wife Cindy.

Appearing on the new CBS show The Talk, Mrs. McCain said Palin has the "sense" and the "wherewithal" to run the country, but: "I just hope she has the ability to understand that we have to include everybody in this party and this country. And again, I am not criticizing Sarah. But I understand that we are going to lose our young people to politics unless we include everybody in the process."

She couldn't wait until the day after the mid term election to start a run for 2012?

I once just loved this woman, until I found out there are two Sarah Palins. I would not say a word against her, if she were not helping to hurt my family and my country.

There is one Sarah Palin who APPEARS to be the most conservative, patriotic, charismatic, and beautiful politician who has ever graced a campaigning stage.

A bigger issue than the flag? Here are a couple of policy issues.

Here is the REAL Sarah Palin below who is just an ordinary woman without the make-up. This is the one who came to my state and campaigned AGAINST our anti-illegal immigration candidate, in favor of Carly Fiorina, a pro-illegal immigration candidate. But what else would I expect from someone who considers John McCain her political hero.

This is the Sarah who you have NEVER heard speak one word about how many little children are molested, raped, and murdered by illegal aliens on a regular basis.

Has Sarah ever mentioned the beautiful young men and women who are continually slaughtered in one way or another by illegal aliens RIGHT HERE in our own country? No! She is all about 'a path to citizenship' for illegal aliens, because according to Sarah, it is the humane thing to do. How very ironic!

Sarah Palin seems to be for everything for illegal aliens and their extended families, who she believes should be imported here from foreign countries, and NOTHING for we the citizens......except for more loss of life along with the staggering financial burdens of it all!

Does Sarah's pink hat say 'Petro?'

Palin's make-up artist earned more than $22,000 for just two weeks during her VP campaign.

Sarah in Hawaii without the leg nylons... Never forget most of these political celebrities are only 'images' built with multi-millions of dollars.

Ron Paul in 2011 "[...]no amnesty should be granted. Maybe a 'green card' with an asterisk should be issued[...]a much better option than deportation."

She didn't run for re-election, so she didn't have to flop like McCain. Pro amnesty, Anti American sounds like her and Obama should run together. And the girl's were fired up before Sarah showed up. And everybody knows except Obama that "That hell haft no fury, like a woman scorned!"" GET EM" GIRL'S, MAKE EM' PAY FOR NOT DOIN' WHAT YOU SAY, ATTACK!" I already live under a dictatorship, I don't need one I'm not used to."YES,DEAR!"

    McCain is dumber than Bush
    Palin is dumber that McCain
    Therefore vote for someone else.

    Now that makes sense.

Palin getting the Rep nomination would all but guarantee an Obama re-election.

I would expect the Reps to be smarter than that, but I don't know. They have nominated OBL's for the office for at least 30 years, so.....
Serve Bush with his letter of resignation.
