Everyone is painfully aware that the Mexican border is as pathetic a “boundary” as anyone can imagine. From the looks of it, if you installed revolving doors every 10 yards along the entire length of this sad threshold, you might actually have a reduction in illegal immigration streaming across its useless presence. Any fencing or barriers along this worthless border are more an amusing joke or decoration than any real limit or restraint on unlawful passage.



As if the sheer futility of this border was not enough to depress anyone who cares about this country, we can add ironic hypocrisy and arrogant insolence to the mix. As described in this site - Family Security Matters.org article - Mexico refuses to allow the extradition of its citizens for many of the crimes committed during their cheerful forays into our nation. Add to this the media’s blatant bias in favor of illegal immigrants and irresponsible refusal to focus on their illegal status when and if they report their crimes and we have an interesting and toxic brew that threatens each and every lawful and responsible resident of this nation.



The above site also painfully recounts the litany of tragedy, injustice and tears caused by many of these arrogant and heartless ghouls who dare to sneak into this country one week and parade down its main avenues demanding rights the next. The entire tale is absurd and tragic beyond belief and exposes the sheer hypocrisy, insolence, arrogance and vile nature of Mexico’s entire stance regarding illegal immigration into this country.



Have Your Taco and Eat It Too



Let me get this straight; Americans are supposed to shed a tear of compassion and warmly embrace arrogant, ungrateful violators of our laws who march down our streets demanding rights as if they were divinely justified, expecting better treatment than our lawful citizens and further accusing Americans merely trying to defend and protest their national rights of being racist, intolerant and hateful monsters?



To add more salsa to this burrito, we are also supposed to conceal their illegal status whenever it is not practical, helpful or politically correct to reveal it, since we want to perpetuate the myth that all illegal immigrants sneaking across our border are saints, angels or noble paragons of humanity? Heaven forbid the news should mention that some drunken idiot who runs over a little girl or destroys an innocent family is illegal. I invite all readers to the excellent website -

Immigration Human Cost.org - where they can see for themselves the despicable and shocking litany of brazen arrogance by illegal immigrants who destroy American families and lives through reckless irresponsibility or intentional evil, only to be slapped on the wrist, escape deportation and harm again.



The despicable Mexican government winks at the practical exodus of its underclass via illegal immigration yet manages enough hypocrisy to then refuse to extradite its returning citizens after they commit crimes in this country. This insolent arrogance and vile audacity defies belief.

Sadly, I cannot in all conscience give full blame to that government for its impudence and hypocrisy, because much of the blame lies on this side of the border. After all, the Mexican authorities are merely taking advantage of the imbecilic betrayal of our national interest precisely by those who should be most courageous in defending it. Moreover, a media that is nothing but a prostitute selling its influence and attention to its own political and social agenda perpetuates this appalling situation.



The Greatest Gig on Earth



Imagine that I told you that you could march into my home; take anything you want; demand control of the television; get free food, drink, medical care and education for your kids; get more privileges and benefits for yourself and your kids than even I have in my own home and that, as a cherry on top of that sundae, I would have to confer respect and consideration upon you that you did not even care to confer upon my family or myself. Now pretend that I could not ever refer to you as somehow being unlawfully in my home, or in any way cause you to be offended or insulted.



Finally, if you destroyed my property or harmed, injured or even killed my family, you could merely escape to a sanctuary that I could not penetrate.



If that is not the greatest gig on earth I do not know what is. I challenge anyone to name another nation on earth so foolish as to allow such a ridiculous situation.



Revolving Door with One-Way Justice



While we as a nation are supposed to welcome warmly those who would unlawfully and arrogantly disregard our laws or disrespect our country and even allow them to escape to their homeland after they have raped, murdered or otherwise destroyed our families, we are not even allowed to expect so much as an ounce of respect, compassion or consideration on their part.

Defenders of illegal immigration argue that these people are merely seeking a better life. I find it fascinating that the right to seek a better life is not extended to lawful residents of this nation. After all, one need only look at the sites noted above to see many examples of how many of these illegal immigrants trample on the rights of lawful, innocent residents to have that better life.



These sites make it all to painfully clear that many illegal immigrants want the benefits of living in this country with few if any of the responsibilities or duties of such residence.



Ironic Self-Harm



A rarely discussed detriment of rampant illegal immigration, pathetic legislation and enforcement of measures to prevent, stem or control such immigration is the fact that the situation actually harms illegal immigrants and immigrants in general. Many observers have noted that between resentment and concerns over the carte blanche legal attitude toward illegal immigrants, many people prefer to shy away from dealing with perceived illegal immigrants at all. The nanny, construction worker, day laborer or cook perceived to possibly be an illegal immigrant is increasingly perceived as a threat in many ways.



Hire the wrong nanny to care for your children and, when she harms them, discover that justice may refuse to fully prosecute the case to its rightful end due to political correctness or other protections that shield illegal immigrants. Hire the wrong contractor, day laborer or construction worker and, when he murders a member of your family, realize that the system may be so twisted to defend illegal immigrant rights that it fails to adequately defend and protest your own.



As I have often said in other articles, illegal immigration harms legal immigration because it creates, “justifies” and spreads harmful stigmas and stereotypes about all immigrants. To the extent that any legal immigrant aids, abets or supports illegal immigrants, that legal immigrant is actually helping to create, extend and perpetuate latent fears and prejudices against minorities perceived to be illegal.



As a proud Latino who lawfully immigrated to this country many years ago, I am disgusted and appalled by the arrogance, audacity and shameless hypocrisy of illegal immigrants and those lawful immigrants who would defend their brazen disrespect for the laws of the very nation they pretend to care about.



These illegal immigrants are no more helpful to the cause of lawful immigrants and minorities than are women who make fraudulent rape and sexual harassment charges to the cause of all women victimized by these crimes. In fact, illegal immigrants are only benefiting their own selfish interests while harming the interests of just about everybody else.



Conclusion



In November of 2006, Actress Adrienne Shelby was on the verge of success. She had recently starred in one movie and was on the verge of releasing another, which she directed and wrote. Shelby was, in the words of illegal immigration apologists, “seeking a better life” and on the verge of finding that goal. Below the New York City apartment office where Shelby was working, illegal immigrant Diego Pillco was working in a vacant apartment. He too, was seeking that “better life.”



However, when Shelby made the mistake of complaining to Pillco about the noise he was making, he punched her unconscious and, thinking she was dead, hung her in her own bathroom to make her death look like a suicide. Thanks to some sneaker tracks and the efforts of Shelby’s family, the killer was captured. His boss, Louis Hernandez called Pillco “a good kid” and added, “I don’t know what happened. I don’t think he did it.” Although Pillco does not speak English, he explained through an interpreter that he feared Shelby would call authorities and his illegal status would be revealed. He explained that he did not intend to kill Shelby, and attempted to justify his actions by saying “I was having a bad day.”



The instances of illegal immigrants like Pillco harming or killing through irresponsibility, evil intent or simply fear of deportation are endless. Sadly, the instances of pathetic, imbecilic and mindless political correctness and weak legislation allowing this carnage to continue are endless as well.

Pillco did not speak English, but his cowardly actions spoke the language of irresponsibility, evil, desperation and fear that is the dialect of many illegal immigrants who commit crimes in this country. While there are many otherwise decent, hard-working illegal immigrants whose only crime is the illegal entry itself, the fact remains that illegal immigration is far from a victimless crime and is, in fact, a scourge aided and abetted by greed, mindless political correctness and biased media reporting.



Sadly, there are many illegal immigrants who harm and kill. Sadly, there are many people like Louis Hernandez steeped in denial who refuse to accept the truth. Sadly, thanks to political, social and economic corruption and greed coupled with a traitorous disregard for our national self-interest, those who condone, defend, justify or promote illegal immigration are ensuring that this once great nation is having more than merely “a bad day.” Increasingly, the unjust revolving door that is our border with Mexico is turning out to be merely a door to eventual national ruin and oblivion.

Since, for personal reasons that I won't go into here, I haven't been around much for months, and I know that ALIPAC has grown, I'm going to repost, my letter to the president 3/27/06 from my 1st post.
I've learned so much since then, at the time, for example, since I lived in Miami, and didn't have a computer, I didn't know about the 'Reconquista', MEChA, Aztlan, etc......

I'm so angry at all this sympathy for people who choose to disobey the
laws of our country and do so every single day they stay here (and at the
businesses who give our jobs away, cheaply) and at our gov't at all levels
allowing this INVASION to go on. Immigrants are those who go through the
system, fill out papers, get checked out, learn English and obey the law!

I am the victim of illegals...Cuban, Nicaraguan, Colombian, Peruvian, &
Mexican. These kids were in an international gang that robbed me off and
on for 1 1/2 years (when I was at work at night as an ER RN, helping
people!), before they threatened my life (spray-painted "We're going to
kill you, you f...... Anglo bitch", all over my walls), broke in while I
was there with a gun, then when I left for my safety, burned my house
down, putting me into $25,000 in debt. Yes, the police gang unit was
trying, but the professionalism of the gang, as well as the physical
layout of the neighborhood, always gave the gang members time to escape.
They only got the gang member, who removed his glove, while he sprayed the
accelerant all over my furniture and my thousands of books. His
thumbprint was left on the accelerant can.

So guess what, I have absolutely no sympathy for illegals. My people were
Lithuanian, and were executed by the Russians, when they invaded. My
great-grandfather had a 'bad' feeling and took his family on a 'vacation'
to another country, 1 week before the invasion. Even though he claimed
political asylum, he was NOT allowed to come to the USA for 3 years, till
he was checked out totally. Then it was, you're here, learn our language,
obey our laws (no social help of any kind), and your future is up to you.
He shared a room with 17 men, all taking turns sleeping on the floor with
a blanket, saving every possible cent to bring over his wife and my
grandmother, who was a child. Took 5 years to accomplish this. They were
grateful! They learned English and obeyed the laws!!! What a concept!
And nobody put Lithuanian on voting ballots or gov't or business forms!

Kick all illegals out! Here in Miami, we have a situation with the 'Wet
Foot, Dry Foot' Act, part of the Cuban Adjustment Act, an insane situation
which encourages criminality. It encourages smuggling, so we have 3 sets
of criminals. The person who pays the smuggler; the smuggler and the
people who KNOW they're being smuggled. Then, when the Cuban steps on US
land, they get to stay! Absurd! The message this sends is you can do
what you want, whether it's legal or not. Any immigrant who breaks the
law should be kicked back to his country of origin, along with the entire
family, never to be allowed to return! This would make the entire family
make sure that everyone was behaving and would make new immigrants the
most law-abiding folk here. After all, we have enough home-grown
criminals, we don't need to import any. Also, I'm tired of my tax money
going to house jailed illegals!

Note: I am NOT opposed to people coming to our shores. I have 2 daughters
who speak 7 & 4 languages respectively. They only achieved this with my
encouragement, values and hard work to pay for the lessons. I believe that
the strength of our country has come from brave people who came from all
over the world, who came here to be AMERICANS and learned a common
language to communicate. I just think the invasion has to stop. We are
at WAR...there are terrorists out there who want to destroy us, 9/11
proved this. Our borders need to be closed. Visitors, with appropriate
visas, need to be tracked and made to leave when the visa is up. Each
country should be given a limited # of visas. Oh, and I find it very
interesting that the terrorists spoke English, yet folk who say they love
this country and want our freedoms, REFUSE to learn English.

Another thing that needs to change...that just being born here conveys
citizenship. If a person is born to a non-citizen who is NOT a green card
holder... then the baby shouldn't be a citizen. In the ER, I took care
of a child of Brazilian parents, who proudly presented her with her
Medicaid card. Now these folk arrived in their big Mercedes, with 2
(men's and ladies) Presidential Rolexes and expensive jewelry, handmade
clothes and shoes and with even the child wearing more real jewelry
(diamonds) than I'll ever be able to afford. They explained that this is
the "greatest country". That it is well known in Brazil to come to Disney
World in Orlando, Fl. for the last month of pregnancy and to just stay
till the baby's born...then you have a US citizen and can get help. These
people are millionaires. OUTRAGEOUS! My tax money going to people like
this! My oldest daughter is disabled. She has a very rare disease which
doesn't have a federal code. It's progressive and the doctors who are the
federal gatekeepers acknowledge that she CANNOT work and needs SSDI. Yet,
she's been told to her face that she's" white, so she can work". I told
her to get a lawyer. Yet, she's been a taxpayer since she was a teenager,
and can't get help! I have a doctor friend who works as a gatekeeper.
This doc told me recently that the law is that a Hispanic who never learns
English and is depressed, and has never worked, gets SSDI.
ARRRRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH!

I'm so fed up because the 'last straw' happened to me, while Christmas
shopping. I went into a Cuban owned business. I knew it, didn't even
think about that. (2 of my very best friends are Cuban born, came here
legally as children.) The owner was by himself, and folded his arms, and
said, in Spanish, that he didn't speak English. I said, no problema, yo
habla pocito espanol. He literally stuck his nose in the air and said, in
Spanish, that he didn't like my Spanish. I guess he didn't know how much
Spanish I understand. At this point, a young man, early 30's, very well
dressed and with flawless English, came into the shop, and had heard the
exchange. He said (and this is the last straw) that "your kind doesn't
belong here, we're going to drive your kind out of So. Fl. This is Cuba."
I am not exaggerating, nor kidding. I was floored. Actually struck
speechless, which I thought was impossible. Such hatred. When I had gone
in to buy something! When I told my 2 Cuban (now proud American)
friends...they just looked sick. Of course, the news media would NEVER
check on this, because, oh my goodness, it might make the Cubans angry.
SO WHAT! IF this wasn't just an isolated jerk, if there is such a
movement, shouldn't it be exposed?

I've always had friends from around the world. My girls, with their
intelligence, extremely clear enunciation and good grammar, were always
asked, even in elementary school, to mentor new children so they could
learn usable English and assimilate easier. I always gave my permission,
and the children and parents were befriended and were welcome in my home.
My daughters say they were brought up in a "mini-United Nations." So, I
feel betrayed, by my own country, which I love so much. We've been law
abiding and good citizen types. Now I feel like we're being abused and
our futures thrown away. Our jobs are being out-sourced.
Manufacturing?...what's that? God help us if foreign sources get taken
over by unfriendlies, and decided to cut us off from, oh, say for example,
steel. No one can't say that takeovers won't happen. We helped Saddam
Hussein get into power, same with the Taliban...then Osama Bin Ladin
worked for us in Afghanistan....etc. These are just recent examples.

I don't like feeling like this. I have a grandchild. I
want him to grow up to a good future with a wide diversity of friends. We
ENJOYED learning about other countries from new friends, and not just from
Europe. We have friends from the mid-east, Asia, Africa, Central and
South America. Our friends are literally from around the world. Yet,
now, I find myself becoming more nationalistic. Enough. We cannot take
care of the world. We're being regarded as fools. I heard one recent
Cuban smuggelee (I don't consider them legal), who was working at my
hospital, say in Spanish, translated by one of my Cuban friends, that
"Americans work too hard, and that he'd go home (Cuba) except that
Americans are so easy to steal from, because we want to believe good about
everyone." My Cuban friends, have told me that they live in fear of the
phone ringing...that it's a distant relative from Cuba, who wants to be
sponsored. That most folk coming from Cuba, now, are criminals. That
they have had to be in Cuba to survive, but they continue that behavior
here. They have been raised as Communists, so believe that they should be
taken care of, and that every friend of theirs, who has taken in such a
family member, has either been robbed by them, or they have had to pay for
legal fees because the immigrant gets into trouble with the law. On the
island, the people are told about "La Ayudar". The Help. They are told
they can get anything they want by calling 911. I have personally seen
this in action, and told about it by new immigrants. I hung up the phone
after a discharged patient called 911 from the ER to get a "ride home".
She got very angry at me when I told her that 911 was for life-threatening
emergencies only. That in the USA, people are responsible for taking care
of themselves. She started shouting "La Ayudar, La Ayudar" at me. When I
enquired of her frustrated family member, I was told the above.

People are NOT entitled to come here, just because they want to. Period.

Also, I have not heard in our local media, anything about what happens to
our Social Security with amnesty nor with Totalization with Mexico. It's
taking our future away, for all of us who came here LEGALLY and were good
citizens.

President Fox of Mexico has invaded us. No bullets, just numbers. Many
illegals work under the radar, do NOT pay taxes and send $20 Billion
dollars to Mexico a year. This does NOT benefit us. Y'all aren't talking
about the social services that non-taxpayers use.

Whatever happened to "Ask not what your country can do for you, but what
you can do for your country"? Just stop giving our country away.

2. NO AMNESTY
3. NO TOTALIZATION
4. NO TO PRESIDENT FOX'S INVASION
5. NO TO AUTOMATIC CITIZENSHIP IF NOT BORN TO LEGAL CITIZENS OR
GREEN CARD HOLDERS
6. CLOSE OUR BORDERS
7. NO TO GLOBALIZATION
8.. STOP GIVING OUR COUNTRY AWAY
9. LET'S TAKE CARE OF OUR OWN FOR A CHANGE!
10. ENGLISH AS THE OFFICIAL LANGUAGE
