    Exciting times...Senators all huddled on the floor...

    2:55 pm ET...Many senators are huddled together on the Senate floor with no sound and no action on CSPAN for about the last half hour. They are lilely trying to cut last minute deals (probably) or are trying to see their way out of this mess without egg on their face (also probably). Stay tuned............even CSPAN can't figure out what is going on...many Senators now have broken from the huddle and gone off camera...

    It's the ones that are trying to get the "President's Amnesty Bill" passed.

    It's mainly Democrats and they are afraid of a Filibuster by the Republicans.
