We are the only stupid country in the world that still allows birth right citizenship. Others have discontinued the foolish practice. That's the best reason I can think of to stop it. It's just stupid, unsafe and leaves America open to continued exploitation and foreign influence from within.

Birthright citizenship is a major cause of bankrupt states, and more than anything, shows illegals we're not serious about deporting them. Every day, all over the country, illegal aliens show up for non emergency, taxpayer funded prenatal care, no questions asked. If they were reported and deported at this point, these children would be born elsewhere, instead of taxpayers supporting their every need for the next eighteen years. Instead, absolutely no enforcement efforts are directed toward them and now one out of every four kindergarteners entering our schools is likely an anchor baby and future Democratic voter.
