    Need assistance please

I have been working on a report for another anti-illegal group. I can not find any statistics or articles on the accuracy of e-verify since they added the photo element. I have searched the web to the best of my abilities. Is there anyone who might have info on the accuracy of the NEW e-verify version?

Have you considered contacting a Public Info person within DHS/USCIS directly to go straight to the source?

The last time I had seen stats. quoted or published by DHS I believe they claim the 'accuracy' (precision is probably a better term....IMHO) is up to about 97% - eg. of 100 people whose SSNs are checked against the database only about about 3% are 'flagged' as being problematic and require further checking or investigating. Of course, *some* of those are bonafide 'problems' cases as in a 'false positive', and the others are likely to be real problems - as in cases with bogus numbers.

Phrede's idea sounds good. Or you might try Numberusa. They are backing the Save Act that will use the E-Verify system.

Or you can contact Congressman Shuler's office. He is the author of the Save Act.
