Numbers Update: How the Senators Voted This Morning

Your Senator Voted NO on Cloture This Morning, Ask Them to Vote NO AGAIN

PHONE YOUR SENATOR BEFORE 5:30 TO VOTE NO ON CLOTURE

If you are receiving this alert, you have at least one U.S. Senator who voted NO on cloture on S. 1348 this morning. Your Senator(s) was one of 61 Senators who voted NO on cloture this morning, but the 5 pm cloture vote is what really counts.

If you are able to do so, please phone your Senator immediately to thank them for their NO vote and encourage them to vote NO again this afternoon. It is especially important that we focus on Democratic Senators. We know that some of the Democrats who voted against cloture do favor the bill, but many in the list may be persuaded to vote against cloture this evening if they get some positive feedback this afternoon. Your phone call could make the difference.

You can reach your Senator via the Capitol Switchboard: (202) 224-3121.

    Barbara Boxer

I was really taken aback when California Senator Barbara Boxer voted no. She is a liberals lib. Trying to find out why. Kinda expected Fienstein to vote no, but she did not. Several radio stations with big audiences have been asking listeners to call all her offices and staff for weeks. Gave out their phone numbers on air and published on their websites.
