Bull's-eye.
NAFTA was pushed by three card monte dealers.
It's worsened poverty in Mexico-which has subsequently been exported to the United States-increased those coming here illegally, and further entrenched the endemically corrupt elite that rule that country.Reporting without fear or favor-American Rattlesnake

while Mexican farmers complain about the raw deal they got, courtesy of their own government which signed this abomination of managed trade, MEXICO as an entity is the winner; why?
US Exports 1992, to Mexico, before NAFTA $41B
US IMPORTS from Mexico, before NAFTA $35 B
Balance in US favor of about $6 Billion
US Exports in 2002 to Mexico ....$97B
US Imports in 2002 fr Mexico ... 138B
Balance in favor of MEXICO .....$41 B
Numbers are from www.usmcoc.org/t2.html
so who won this "free trade" sweepstakes? America added another $40B to its total trade deficit of close to $1 Trillion per year; cumulative Trade Deficit is now almost $10 Trillion....
I think MEXICO has no complaints against the US, but definitely against its own government. No soy de los que se dicen 'la raza'... Am not one of those racists of "The Race"
