Thread: I see Tiny from Idao and Fedup in Waukegan Doing These Thing

I just watched a video tape from American Solutions. I was struck as I watched it that Tiny and fedup are doing what Newt suggests we do at our local and state levels to make "Real Change." He gives examples of things that can be done for innovation. Although in the webcast he doesn't address illegal immigration, as he has in the past, the principles are still there.

If you have about 13 minutes take the time to watch it all the way through. It's interesting that William has a thread about SC tonight. Newt speaks of working with the state there on a tax alternate and that the governor is open to it there in South Carolina. Perhaps some of the train of thought can be translated into the illegal immigration issue.

Thank you for the mention. It would be amazing if we all went after our own cities and demanded (other side does, so why can't we) action on this issue. It took a long time, continual contact, information sent -till the city was interested. I met with the mayor. I asked for help from alipac!

I can't even begin to tell you all that went on the month of the vote. I was able to witness it all. This was a life-changing event for me. Even William and Ted Hayes were in town and saw the vote go down. They had 3,000 plus demonstrators against 287g. I'll leave youtube links if you want to see some of the action.

Here's a beautiful thing. Later, after the fuss dies down our county sheriff announced that he had already applied. He learned. The activist demanded a meeting with him -he declined!

View from city hall, you needed a ticket to get into the meeting. What a story to tell what I went through to get the ticket!!

Perhaps my small town is a good one to work with. We'll see. I just thought that things he said were very appropo to what some of you are doing. OH yes if you go to the main page of American Solutions you can click on the Platform and you can also see the polls they took and the break down of those polls to see the results and how they came about.

I believe the percentage of those polled were very high against illegal immigration.
