Please Call Caltrans Director Will Kemptonâ€
I just called Caltrans Dir. Will Kempton, who is away from his office, and left a message to a gratious lady. I explained to her that where the Director stands on immigration is irrelevant. That this is a first amendment issue and that the SDMM will sue the state of California and most certainly win a million dollar lawsuit. I then asked her to tell the Director to do the right thing and give the SDMM their previous location in order to save California taxpayers some money since the state is in a $14 Billion deficit. I included the fact that the ACLU and the Supreme Court have said that any political group has the right to this program.
I know many of you want to inform the Director that the SDMM have a large number of supporter, but we also need to show them that even those who are in the middle regarding immigration, know full well that this lawsuit will eventualy be won by the SDMM and that California taxpayers will pay the price for Pedro Delgado's decision.
Call Caltrans Director Will Kempton
