From one peeved off San Diego citizen. How many Americans will have to die Bush

Wow! 27 people in a van. I imagine it swerved when the suspension broke down.

I am so sorry that people were killed and injured. I really hate it.

In Miami, we get the drownings because of overloaded boats, both Cubans, Haitians, and others. Then, folks here, try to blame the Coast Guard, either because they were trying to obey the law and stop them, or because they weren't there to help them when the overloaded boat capsized. Now, I didn't say it made sense, did I? No one blames THEM for illegally trying to enter our country!

What is NOT said in this article is the huge cost that this ONE accident cost the taxpayers. Did you see all the care, Fire Rescue, Police, multiple hospital ER's (expensive!!!), possibly surgery, ICU, etc.....

And my disabled, was a taxpayer, daughter can't get help. NOT FAIR.

And I'm still sorry they were killed and injured.

This scenario is happening at least one once a week. During May 1st protests in San Diego, a van carrying 56 illegal aliens crashed. Notice that only the illegal aliens are mention and nothing about how many Americans were injured.

Thanks. And I am trying real hard to make sense of what is going on in our country right now. I keep telling myself I need to back off for awhile. But I don't feel right doing that. The fight is so important.

I was in a car wreck caused by an illegal. He was driving a borrowed car that was insured. Our car should have been totaled - it had $14,000 worth of damage. The insurance company is still giving me a hard time about eyeglasses that broke on my face. None of us claimed any injurys.

The illegal was thrown in jail for no ID or license. He was out in 3 days. I am sure he is out there driving again.

We had to take a taxi home fro the accident - It was a Mexican and the seat belts in the taxi were broken.

Bearpaw, I KNOW what you mean. This whole situation makes me sick. That I had no idea until mid-March...shames me.

Then, I think of my girls and my grandson, put on beautiful soft music, waltzes, soft classical music, etc. and hit the phone/email/faxes, etc.

I'm 61, so I don't know how much longer I've got. But the future of my family....I'll do anything I can, around my mother's care for now...later...more. If you have children, I'm working for them...for all the families of AMERICANS and LEGAL immigrants

I'll take a breather later. No time now. I AM going to start exercising. Supposed to be good for stress!

How scary. I'm glad to hear that you were not seriously injured. Another reason why Americans are so fed up?

I'm so sorry you had such an UNNECESSARY accident. Wouldn't have happened if he hadn't been here. I'm sorry about the injuries, and glad they weren't worse.
