KS Senators Say Their Constituents Are Split

I spoke with people at Brownback and Roberts offices today and both said that the issue of the McCain Kennedy bill was split or close. Is this politician mumbo jumbo or just a big problem?

Brownback is TOTALLY amnesty. His staffers are worthless too, and refuse to take messages. One of them hung up on me.l

I'm sure the voters are not split on this issue. When they say they are split, they're probably talking about the farmers who want the cheap labor vs the citizens, who are overwhelmingly against it. If the Kansas Senators can't figure out which one of those two groups can vote them out of office, they won't have to worry about it much longer.

UPDATE: According to Sen. Roberts office the majority of call-ins are aginst the Kennedy-McCain Bill. Sen. Brownback's office still reports a near even split although when I mentioned what Roberts office had said the girl sort of paused and said the office was closed.

I believe Roberts is the Senator from the western part of KS (more farmers) and Brownback from the more population heavy eastern area. is that correct?
