Here is a letter to the editor from the Arizona Daily Star from a mother who is exuberant that her child skipped school for what she believes is the right reason.

Son's march for justice hailed
Tuesday was a proud day in my life as a mother. I bought the paper, and there was my 16-year-old son on the front page marching for justice.
He is a quiet young man with good grades and defined plans for college as well as an open heart and a critical mind. I do not care in the least that he ditched class to speak up for the rights of others.
Quite to the contrary, he has made me immensely happy in the knowledge that I contributed to the making of a mensch.
