sorry for the pessimism, there is a silver linning.

I wrote in yesterday asking for a pep talk. That was pessimistic.
We all know the stakes are high and the odds are against us, and even if Obama looses, McCain is not exactly a winner for us.

That being said. we will sort out what ever happens and deal with it then. and find our best strategy.

    Points in our favor are.

    1. The polls might not be able to account for the people who state they are going to vote for Obama, but when they are in the booth, they don't.
That is called the "Bradley effect."

    2. Even with an Obama presidency and a Democrate controlled congress, they probably do not have enough leftist democrates and republicans to pass amnesty.

    3. Conservatives are in a much more united position as a minority.

    4. McCain does not deserve our trust or support (even though I am going to vote for him). We have a chance for a great man or woman in four years who does deserve our support.

    5. An obama presidency gives Americans a taste of what the future holds after amnesty when whites are minoritys in the USA. and further understanding of the hatred that many blacks and hispanics have for whites. In otherwords a taste of being marginalized in the country that our forefathers built. It will be an important lesson, that will not be forgotten.

    6. So many American are so in the dark about the invasion, and the way our country is being broken apart based on race, it will have to get worse before it will get better. An Obama presidency is the wake up call Americans need to see, before it is too late. We know and understand the crisis, Obama is pro invasion, his anti American actions will show the rest what we already know. Many more currently in denial will wake up.

    7. The May day marches of illigals in 2006 woke up many of us, myself included. Obama and his hatred of Americans will do in a more effective way, what we have been trying to do in the last two years. In otherwords if he and his leftist followers don't kill us it will make our movement stronger. The more embolden they win this election { even if thy win the way George Bush won in 2000, the press will call it a landslide} the more radical they will be. Then the quicker and stronger the backlash will be.

Greg you are throwing your vote away. Obama is going to win California so vote for who you REALLY want.

I understand where your coming from.......I can pretty much see the same thing coming.
I woke thousands of Americans up in "06" by posting the videos from the Illegals marches,,such as "Maywood" on other Immigration forums. The biggest eye opener was the"WeHateGringos" video.

Bowman, you have a point, I will think it over and maybe write in Ron Paul. I don't know much about chuck Baldwin.

Bowman what did you think about the silver linings to an Osama Presidency?

Maybe a majority of Americans will experience first hand why our founding fathers revolted against English Rule, appreciate much more what they gave us, and work to restore our government to their vision. In other words in 2012 hopefully they will elect someone like Ron Paul as President.

I hope you're right, however, I'm not convinced. Remember, several of our allies are retiring this year. Additionally, with Obama will come more Democrats in the Congress. Things could get real nasty on the illegal immigrant front next year.

I wouldn't exactly say California is a done deal for Obama. Sure, he has a definite advantage. However, there are some thing in McCain's favor that could make a difference. Many Hispanics like McCain because of his support for immigration reform (gag & puke). And I've also heard it said that the Latino community has a lot of respect for McCain because of his military service. Additionally, there the Arnold voters to consider. Nope, I don't think Obama is a sure thing at this point.

    "Obama's lead widens in California

By The Associated Press – 10 hours ago

THE POLL: Public Policy Institute of California; national presidential race among likely voters in California (55 electoral votes).

THE NUMBERS: Barack Obama 56 percent, John McCain 33 percent.

OF INTEREST: California is more blue than ever, as Obama's support surged by 13 points in the last month. The jump was fueled by support from independents, women, Hispanics and younger voters. Voters still report high party loyalty, but Republican support for their ticket is slipping: 44 percent of them said they are satisfied with the candidates, down from 67 percent a month ago. Voters overwhelmingly rated the economy the top issue and said they want to hear more about it from the presidential candidates.

DETAILS: Conducted Oct. 12-19 by telephone with 2,004 California adult residents, 1,186 of whom are considered likely voters. Sampling error margin plus or minus 2 percentage points for all adults; plus or minus 3 percentage points for likely voters."

In other words Obama is slickly telling his base and independents what they want to hear, while McCain is poking his base in the eye with promises for amnesty. As a result only 44% of California Republicans support McCain. He has got to be about the stupidest Presidential candidate ever.
