Thread: HERE'S AN IDEA TO GET OTHERS TO CALL

Here's another thing I'm doing. I created a word processing document that is split into four sections. I place my representatives names and all of their numbers in each section. Now I cut them and have them in my purse. When I hearing someone complaining about the bill, I ask, "Have you called your representatives?" If they haven't, I tell them they must and I hand them a sheet with the names and numbers to make it really easy for them. Then if they don't, they get what they don't want. If they do, then maybe I've helped another person to get on the train.

Way to go! Maybe give them an extra slip or two so they can give it to someone else!

Good idea. I saw some kids driving around with the pickup truck yesterday they had a huge American flag flying from the top of it. If I see them again, I'm going to hire them to pass out flyers in neighborhoods to get people to call the senators and congress reps. I'll give them extra slips too.

Now I just need to find them.

I've sent the list to everyone in my address book, but from now on I will carry the list with me! These are the most important phone calls we will EVER make! We can and we will win this battle!

Thanks everyone. If we can each get 20 new people to call just thinking of the ripple effect it will have. Then if they get 20, and so on and so on. They can be strangers.

I got the idea because my husband was talking with co-workers about it on their break. They are livid. He told them what I'm doing and they said, "oh ya, I should be doing that." Knowing them, they won't take the time to even look up the numbers. So I thought let's make it easy for them.

Now I just need to find those kids with the flag on their truck.

Great idea, I will definitely plan to do that too. It is so hard to explain this to people who are not really paying attention to what is happening.

I printed up flyers as a way of letting people know the costs of illegals and put them on at least 125 of my neighbors front doors. just my way of passing on info so they know what this is costing them.

On the other side of the paper, how about putting a list of talking points such as these?
