Senator McCain,

I have just listened to the PHXNEWS broadcast of the speech you delivered at the Hyatt Regency Hotel located in Irvine California on May 31. Your statements in that speech have prompted several questions for which I would like a response.

First of all, why would you deliberately invert statistical results of polls regarding the opinions of citizens of this nation who support a quest worker program?

I believe you have been misinformed and have therefore misinformed your audience when you stated that 70 to 75% of the people of this nation support a guest worker program and or a path to citizenship. The polls in fact reflect exactly the opposite!

I have seen legitimate polls as high as 88% with regard to the number of citizens who OPPOSE a guest worker program and consider the S2611 to be amnesty.

Secondly, why would you deliberately choose terms which invoke violence against those who disagree with a guest worker program or any form of amnesty?
These are your words Senator, “a very loud and vocal minority . . . now is A CALL TO ARMS for people to rise up and speak up for people who can’t speak very well for themselves.”

Sir, I propose to you that the only people currently unable to speak for themselves are the citizens of The United States of America who are under constraints imposed upon their rights, including freedom to assemble and free exchange of information damped by the silencing of media sources as a result of restrictions imposed by The Patriot Act.

American citizens do not feel free to demonstrate openly in the streets of America yet are forced to watch as others who have broken the laws of our nation enjoy OUR liberties which have been taken from us in the guise of “protection” against terrorist.

Thirdly, when you misstated statistical facts, did you mean to imply that actions which may result from your inflammatory words “a call to arms” against those who disagree with a guest worker program or a pathway to citizenship would in fact be authorized or approved by the majority of citizens in this nation?

Ample and perhaps even profoundly abundant evidence is recorded which indicates actions of those who have entered this country illegally have resulted in death to United States citizens, financial hardships in the form of fraudulent use of stolen documents, depletion of social service funding, closure of hospitals and undermining of the wage scale of this country; I find the inflammatory statement in your speech to be not only physically and emotionally dangerous to American citizens but an encouragement to those who enter illegally to continue to undermine our financial infrastructure.

Fourthly, I would like to ask you why on earth members of Congress are outsourcing their own jobs.

NAFTA and CAFTA and other agreements pushing our nation into a global economy are in fact erasing our Constitution. That Constitution provides you with your current employment as a representative of the citizens of this nation.

I look forward to your response to these questions.

Thank you,
