I think that since Romney is a candidate perhaps the person to target should be
John Boehner, Speaker of the House.
Contact the Speaker | Speaker.gov
The House controls the money for the special training that ICE agents now have to have in order to determine which illegal aliens are bad and which are good by Napolitano standards.Support our FIGHT AGAINST illegal immigration & Amnesty by joining our E-mail Alerts at https://eepurl.com/cktGTn

If Romney wants to be President, he needs to step up and LEAD! That's what Presidents do. And so far he has been pathetic in his response to this weeks SCOTUS decision. The Republicans in Congress are looking for direction from Romney on how to proceed forward to stay in lock step, but so far nada. First it was his response to Obama's policy change and now this. This is just getting more ridiculous. Every day that goes by with Romney as the Republican candidate the harder it will get to dump him and find a replacement before the convention.

I think this issue has everything to do with the current elected leadership, not the potential leadership. Romney can make statements concerning his opinion, but he has not control over policy. If you want policy changed in the immediate future, not "next year" you should contact those that are in charge.
The elected, in power Republican leadership, is the Senate Minority leader, Mitch McConnell and the Speaker of the House, John Boehner.
This is same hotline number that was set up for the illegals in Alabama, yet the Southern Poverty Law Center claims it as theirs and they re still running it in Alabama. This wasn't an outrage against Romney when it happened to Alabama. No said a word about demanding a candidate to "do something about it" to use your terminology googler, they said "nada".Last edited by Newmexican; 06-28-2012 at 07:31 AM.

Thing is, Alabama is a state. And a Conservative one at that. So you can understand why it was easier to sway the state politicians on this matter. Here we're talking about the United States Congress with differing political views from all across the country. They need direction and if Romney could make his positions known, they could take action without fear of screwing up his election because he'd be forced to have to take yet another position on this topic he wants to so much avoid for some mysterious reason...

No, the topic of this conversation is The DOJ, ICE setting up hotlines for illegals at taxpayer expense.

Topic at hand, and as set by the original poster, is about emailing Romney to take a stance. But he has yet to hear our emails and I suspect they're going into the trash bin at some Romney office in the middle of nowhere.

I have reviewed your posts on multiple threads and it is obvious that you are campaigning for a third candidate and only post here to promote this and run down Romney.

Boehner is a Boehner on illegals, he's a pro-illegal.

Because that's what this country needs. I'm not going to simply sit back and watch my country go down in flames by going with the status quot. Others want to do that, not me. Perhaps I love my country too much? I don't know, but I can tell you that we have a chance to make history here and save future generations from a bleak future ruled by this destructive two party system where none of these parties have the American people's interest at heart.
And as shown by the decision by the Supreme Court, the key vote made by a Conservative judge, we cannot rely on the Court either. We know Congress is inept, so that leaves us with the executive branch. Obama has shown that the President has the power to enact very destructive policies, but I believe we can put someone in there who will enact policies that will put this country back on the path to prosperity.Last edited by googler; 06-28-2012 at 02:35 PM.
