Florida Latinos Go for Romney and his tough immigration stances

so much for the theory that a Republican should pander with Amnesty like Newt Gingrich and John McCain!

Mitt Romney is dominating with GOP Hispanic voters in Florida after saying he would VETO THE DREAM ACT AMNESTY.

A recent survey bears that out. Forty-nine percent of Latino likely voters in Florida’s Republican primary back Romney, with Gingrich coming in a distant second at 23 percent, according to a poll by Latino Decisions for ABC News and Univision. Eleven percent of the Republican primary electorate is Latino, and in a close race, could tip the scales.

Seeing through Newt Gingrich is not that hard to do ..

The Quinnipiac poll, conducted Jan. 24 to 26, shows Romney leading Gingrich 38 percent to 29 percent among likely GOP voters in Florida. A poll taken days earlier and released Wednesday showed Romney barely ahead of Gingrich, 36 percent to 34 percent.

He also stated he will put a fence on the border, and use E-VERIFY, but NO ONE IS TALKING ABOUT THAT.

Regardless, as I have said repeatedly, we will have to put ENORMOUS PRESSURE on him if he gets in, to have him do so.

Amazing this is getting so little 'good' press. Romney is literally the BEST chance we have. He is better than Ron Paul on illegals, or can be if we FORCE THE ISSUE.

Alipac will have its work cut out, on his first day on office, he needs 10,000 emails from Alipac, NumbersUSA, about illegals, and doing what he can about the issue.
then 3 years of HARD PRESSURE.

Yes Alipac would need to work hard to make sure he does not do a flip flop, pressure all the time!

As I have read in an article I can't find recently the illegal crowd keep trying to claim the full "latino" and "hispanic" tag. Those in Florida are majority Cuban decent which seperates them from the majority illegal aliens mostly Mexican. It is funny how Mexican illegal aliens keep trying to unite all Latino's under their flag while quite a few want nothing to do with it.

Sounds like another of one of those pass this bill before you can read it...but in this case vote him in before you know what he will do....

I don't trust Romney even tho I voted for him in the 2008 primary to try and keep McStain out. Sure like him better than Newt tho! I'll support him again to get Newt and Obama out of the picture.....

I am still not sold on Romney, he just reminds me too much of a used care salesman, will say what you want to hear.

I have favored Santorum for many reasons, but he seems to be strongest, to me, on illegal immigration. I know Romney has said similar things, but like I said, he seems like he would say anything to you, then be the opposite afterwards. With Santorum I believe he would stand strong even after being elected.

Sad thing is I am in the Northwest and when primaries finally come here, it won't matter much what I want and what I vote the decision will already have been made.
