My sad Memorial Day trip in San Francisco
My sad day trip in San Francisco – the city I love. This is a long story, and perhaps too long. I only ask that you allow me this post, forgive me if you can, as Memorial Day is always a very emotional and trying time for me. It is a sad time. I lost all of me best friends in war. I always ask God why he spared me, why didn't He take me too. What purpose do I have in living? Do not think I do not thank God for life – life is a precious gift – our nation and people are a precious gift. I will struggle on, I do not accept defeat. I will not give up, no matter the odds. I will not forsake the memory and sacrifice of my dear friends, and so many of my countryman – men and women – who are true American Heroes.
