    well first i wouldn't call connetecut big government

    and second , yeah i'd like to see them try to enforce something like that ... i'm sure in this bad economy people are going to line up too register their guns so they can pay a yearly fee forever ... uh huh ..

    In a nutshell, average citizens of NYC couldn't possibly acquire a gun permit. Some however choose to carry illegally for self defense. Then when attacked it is they who get in trouble with the law. The liberal media makes such people out to be vigilantes etc.. Yet if a mugger attacks an off duty cop that cop can pull his gun and kill the mugger and become a "HERO."
