I received a letter from my senator saying there is no such thing as a' north american union'. He denies this is in progress.

If you go to this site you will see that Dr. Peterson clearly demonstrates the existence of a NAU plan. Today on the radio she also said that "denial" is part of the plan when a couple of callers said their Representatives had said the same thing your Senator said.

Go there and go to http://www.spp.com and send him some of that stuff and tell him he is either ignorant of the facts or stupid or possibly complicit. You may also google Jerome Corsi for more information

Sawdust, try sending him the copy of the House resolution put forth by 4 of our Congressman denouncing the NAU/SPP and see what he has to say about that.

Isn't that what happened in Europe? Didn't they tell the people that it was just trade deals and not a treaty when they were setting up the EU? It started out as trade deals and now they are trying to pass an EU constitution.
