If they can pick it apart, so can we
If the pro-Amnesty crowd can pick out the parts of the bill that they want, then so can we. Our fight will pick up right here because of what Boxmouth says here:
[quote]
Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senator Barbara Boxer (D-CA) today issued the following statement on the immigration bill:
“The immigration problems we have in America today are not going to magically go away. We need to work to resolve these problems.
“I decided to vote yes on cloture today because I felt that if the policies in this bill were carried out properly, the result would be a strengthening of our border security, the rescue of our agriculture industry, and the acknowledgment that hardworking undocumented immigrants should have a path to legality if they follow the tough rules we have set out.
“As we move forward, I hope that the Senate will work to immediately pass the non-controversial pieces of this bill such as increased funding for border security, the AgJobs program, and the Dream Act.
“We also need to legislate a fair way to deal with the 12 million undocumented workers who have become an important part of California’s economy and the economy of the country.â€Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

I agree with you Rockfish. We must stay vigilant and we can target those little monsters. We can also be proactive instead of just reactive to the OBL by telling our Representatives and Senators no to the Dream Act, birthright citizenship, and other benefits to illegal aliens.
Jeremiah 29:11Matthew 19:26
But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.

No more back door deals...no little add ons...we are awake and watching
Never look at another flag. Remember, that behind Government, there is your country, and that you belong to her as you do belong to your own mother. Stand by her as you would stand by your own mother

Looks like its time to begin the "Dream On" Act.
If Boxer thinks the ag and education benefits will remain the same, or become even more lenient, for illegals, Boxer's got another thing coming."The liberties of a people never were, nor ever will be, secure, when the transactions of their rulers may be concealed from them." Patrick Henry

Absolutely. And the operative is what you said, " this crowd is out ".

My biggest fear is that, since Bush couldn't make them legal citizens, then he'll just give illegals all the rights of legal citizens, through a series of little bills. Hence, the "Dream Act". Stuff like this is going to pop up all over the place, and we're going to have to stay on top of it!!
Calderon was absolutely right when he said...."Where there is a Mexican, there is Mexico".

This is about funding, though, so if they introduce a new bill on one program, they'll focus on one item, but bring in several. And those other line-items will be buried deep in the bill.
