    Fla's Mario Rubio's Illegals policy-

Fla's Mario Rubio's Illegals policy- St. Petersburg Times (Fla)

---- • As a candidate, Rubio talks about securing the nation's borders and says he does not support amnesty for the millions of illegal immigrants already in the country.

But as the first Cuban-American speaker of the Florida House, he came across as more moderate and understanding of the nuances of the issue. During Rubio's final year as speaker,,,,,,, at least six bills intended to crack down on illegal immigrants....... Not one made it to a vote.

"He's all of a sudden saying, 'I've seen the light and I had nothing to do with those bills,' " said Bill Landes, director of the Florida Minuteman Civil Defense Corps. "But the real truth is it was him (and other South Florida lawmakers) who helped keep those bills in committee. He's saying what the people want to hear to get elected."

Rubio made sure those bills never made it to the voting stage. Infact he and other Cuban Americans boasted about it in an article that was published in the Miami Herald. He cannot be trusted.

We just got rid of a Cuban republican Congressman (Martinez)who swore he would NOT vote for Amnesty (When he was running for office) but he LIED and voted for every Amnesty and other IA bills.

We are screwed in FL. any way we vote since ALL Congressional contenders in our state are,if not overt, closet Amnesty proponents.

The candidates are pro illegal due to the business owners. They are also the ones who give contributions to them. In the City of Miami and Miami Dade County the Cuban politicians are killing us. They voted to help pay for a new ball stadium in Little Havana. The biggest example of corporate welfare when we can least afford it. There are hiring freezes, people taking pay cuts and possible layoffs. The majority of the people were and are against it. They claim they hate communism but yet act that way.

Since all are for Amnesty I guess I will vote for Christ since he at least is honest about being for Amnesty. Its either that or not vote at all.

Crist did a great job as attorney general, and he was doing well in the first year as guv. But I think he is scared he won't get reelected because of the banshee screams by the pro-illegal gangs.
I am glad to see Martinez out of there as he flat out lied to voters about his stance.
And if anyone goes to investigate FL history, Spain took it over, and with no gold, gave it to England (tough place to defend) so the English gave it back. Spain did not want to mess with it and finally gave it to the US, that was having a problem with FL indians harboring run-away slaves. That was 1852, I think.
Years ago, it already started turning into Uno Estado Unido Florida, or whatever. So I moved here, only to find out I moved to Carolina de Norte.
Is there any place left in this country where we are not subjected to Latinos shoving "culture" at us?
