Can you imagine working for a company that has a little more than 500
employees and has the following statistics:

29 have been accused of spousal abuse

7 have been arrested for fraud

19 have been accused of writing bad checks

117 have directly or indirectly bankrupted at least 2 businesses

3 have done time for assault

71 cannot get a credit card due to bad credit

14 have been arrested on drug-related charges

8 have been arrested for shoplifting

21 are currently defendants in lawsuits

84 have been arrested for drunk driving in the last year

Can you guess which organization this is?

It's the 535 members of the United States Congress.

The same group of Idiots that crank out hundreds of new laws each
year designed to keep the rest of us in line.

It looks like Hillary Clinton and Ted Kennedy would fit in nicely with that crowd. Too bad they are in the U.S. Senate.

And we are to believe that this batch of folks will understand a 150 page McCain Kennedy Act or its consequences, a complex CAFTA agreement that's 2400 pages long? Or a FTAA of comparable volume?

I would say that pretty much every senator or congressman is a cheap or a fraud that cares more about themselves, money and power more then they do about us or the future of their country.

Absolutely correct. Keep that in mind when they are passing new laws which infringe upon our rights for our "own good".

Does anyone remember Senator Packwood? He used to live accross the street from me. He loved to flirt and date other women while still married. He was scum and treated his wife really bad. I was surprised they would let anyone like him represent our country.

Most people go to vote knowing very very little about the candidate that they're voting for. It was someone who had a lot of money to spend to create name recognition...and keep their past well hidden from view.

Others have a record a mile long and are incumbents. Folks don't take the time to check any of this out...'He seems like a 'good ole boy'...mark the ballot. "His brothers were assassinated, he deserves to stay"...mark the ballot.

It would be nice if they would get the troops to the border, so we could take our microscopes off of them, and although we will always keep a watchful eye on our country, once we get this (our largest looming danger) under control, we could get back to giving more attention to our own lives and responsibilities. We have all taken valuable time away from our lives in order to GET THEM TO DO THEIR JOBS.

Come on Elected Officials. Time is of the essence in this case. This can no longer be denied.
