Confessions Of A Do Nothing Junkie

ALIPAC'ers, it has been a wild ride for me so far. I will ashamedly admit that up until a year ago I was content to sit in my isolated bubble and watch the world go by, a very apolitical person. It's funny how little things can suddenly awaken an unspoken angst, a genuine hidden fear or an outright deeply supressed anger. In my case it was a simple thing (just ask my wife). I was standing in line at a convenience store not far from my home. In front of me was what appeared to be a person who most likely was a construction or landscaping worker of unknown latin origin. I remember him speaking in spanish and the cashier couldn't understand a word he was saying and was getting a little upset. As the person left the cashier looked up and mumbled under his breath..."you should learn to at least speak English...". Strangely enough, this was my little awakening and led to my search and discovery of ALIPAC. I have since become a changed person. Angered and disgusted by the illegal invasion that I have discovered is happening to my state and country I began routinely calling my Senators and Representatives. I also began emailing and calling Senators from different states. I've traveled to rallies (Rumble at the Ranch) and video taped pro-illegal immigration demonstrations. I donate what little I can to ALIPAC. I proudly wear my cap which says "US Border Watch". As the Japanese so adeptly stated after bombing Pearl Harbor..."I fear we have awakened a sleeping giant...". I AM that sleeping giant! One among millions that are slowly but surely awakening from their slumber since WWII. I just want to say thank you to all the ALIPAC'ers who have so graciously educated me and made me even more proud to be an American. I hope my dad, a WWII veteran, would be proud of me. He fought and gave his all and so, I must. How could I, with any honor, do anything less? He once told me..."Never, EVER give up" for something you strongly believe in. So, hang tough ALIPAC'ers and fellow patriots...it's gonna be one wild, tough ride. Tears and blood have been and will be shed, but freedom is not free. In the end the battle will be won by the fighter who wants it the most!
...I call on you in the name of Liberty, of patriotism & everything dear to the American character, to come to our aid...

For years I did nothing about illegal immigration because I had NO idea how DISASTROUS it is! Several years ago, when my Brazilian friend was ethnically HARASSED by a RACIST Mexican college professor and later FIRED for defending herself and her culture, I FINALLY caught on!

We've all had our tipping points. And as TexasBorn and Winston Churchill said: Never, ever give up!

[b][i]“Never give in! Never give in! Never, never, never, never - in nothing great or small, large or petty. Never give in except to convictions of honor and good sense.â€

We have all had our tipping point because I KNOW as Americans, we are the most open, forgiving, and tolerant group on the face of this earth. We are so guilt ridden and everything that we automatically assume we must be guilty before the case has ever been heard. To the point where we are abused and mis-used in the process.

I remember stretching myself to the inth degree to be tolerant and being laughed at and told I was a FOOL. I remember having a husband that was a womanizer abuse me and have him say....hey, it's your fault...you LET me. There's a line.....there's a taking responsibility of past errors and the time when those admitted errors are used as a club to continue abuse in another area. These people have used ancient history, jumped on a long past "race" card and have abused everything given to them.

These are the people who cry rape when none has taken place. These are the people who sing slavery and abuse when they volunteered for it.

I have soul searched and changed and gone to extreem lengths to get beyond things........when these people use amature methods to get control.....seriously....I dispise them.
