Site advises foreigners on how to defraud job applications

Tip 5 - Go for the Job Regardless of the Required Skills

"If you like the job description go for it regardless if you have the technical skills or not. Most likely you will get a functional manager who conducts the interview and manages you. You will be able to easily fool the functional manager in to thinking that you are an expert in the required skill set. Then after getting on the job and making friends with other contractors on the job, you will be able to quickly pick up the skill set on the job without the boss ever knowing that you did not have a clue about the given technology...."

    Common knowledge

This is not usual for people working in the computer software field. Typically the human resources folks sorting out the resumes and doing the hiring know little about the skills. I often see help wanted ads with such requirements as "Applicant must have a minimum of 2 years experience with programming in X" where "X" has only been on the market for 6 months.

Another myth that gets spread is that when 100 engineering type jobs appear, only about 70 can be filled by Americans and the remaining 30 have to be filled by foreigners; this is completely false as the 100 jobs can be filled entirely by qualified and educated Americans without having to resort to hiring foreigners at all! The myth is used by corporations to create the anti-American Jim Crow type of hiring conditions that are used to "ship jobs overseas" because "Americans can't be found who can do the work" (this is a complete lie).
