Illegals Hurt US Citizens and Are Released Again

The illegals in this story caused an accident, were detained by an trooper and then released. If a US citizen had not given documentation, they would be in jail now, even if they weren't the driver.

    WELCOME to the fight!

Yup, it's strange how Americans are held to a different standard.

Actually, the ILLEGALS aren't held to any standard, now that I think about it!

I was the victim of a hit and run by and illegal alien. I got the plate number and reported it to the police, but it took a private investigator friend of mine to to track down the car. I gave the police the address for the vehicle, so they reluctantly went out and talked to the driver. They called to tell me that the driver was an illegal alien and that the DA would not prosecute for that reason because of the flight risk. I was incredulous! As the officer explained, when arrested, the illegals will post bond and then either flee to Mexico or simply change identity and disappear. I thought that it would be a good idea for the city to at least get the bond money and take a chance on being able to prosecute the bastard, but the Dallas DA does not see it that way. The DPD had rather write seatbelt tickets to little old ladies than get dangerous and irresponsible illegal alien drivers off the road.

The upshot is that I got stuck for the uninsured motorist deductible ($500) on a $3800 repair bill and then my insurance was not renewed and I had to find a more expensive insurer. Nice, eh?

CrocketsGhost, I am so sorry man, I am so sick and tired of the double standard our government is holding us to here. If you try to be an upright citizen pay your taxes, pay yours and everyone else(illegals) hospital bills, then you get jerked around by the law! Can we sue our government for not enforcing our laws and for discrimination?

Yeah, I asked about that option. They laughed and said that there are not enough jail cells.

I wish that was an option, but it is not unless there is gross negligence (as determined by one of their judges) or unless it can be proven that an actu was undertaken in private personal capacity rather than in official capacity in the course of their delegated duties. Again, the only real option is the ballot box. Sadly, most voters are so grossly uninformed at the local level that most simply vote a party ticket without even knowing who the people are that they are voting for.

Again I ask "Why am I an American Citizen?"

The benefits of being an illegal are much better than the shaft we are getting.
