Dear Senator Wyden,

S. 1639, the resurrected "Grand Bargain" bill will only harm American industry and American workers. Please vote "no" on Tuesday.

You have fought hard your entire career for the Senior Citizens of Oregon and preserving Social Security benefits. S 1639 is a fatally flawed bill with only twenty percent support of the American public. The bill will crush the Social Security system and harm the people who you have dedicated a lifetime to protect.

Congress' horrible approval ratings are well earned. The Senate's apparent support of a bill that has record bipartisan opposition, is the principle reason for the low approval ratings.

American's don't want S 1639. We want our current laws enforced. Remove the gang members, identity thieves, SSN theives, drunk drivers, drug dealers and criminals; then we MIGHT consider some sort of legitimization of the few who will remain.

Stand up for the Senior Citizens of Oregon. No on cloture, No on S 1639.
