One last note on small town Government

One last note on small town Government

Many years ago one of my Daughters was a Cheerleader
For 2 years and was picked to belong to the historical foundation
In town anyway the cost was hard for me to bear I even sold a pickup
To help with the cost that is when I realized that many kids could never be a cheerleader
Because of the cost. And at the same time the football team got it all free I started a one man campaign to help poorer kids have the opportunity to participate, I printed out flyers
Got a few stores to post them in there windows. I was down to my last flyer and 1 store owner told me sure you can post it and I told her I would later after I got copies made.
When I came back a week later she told me she was sorry I could not post it- I ask why
(She is a good person) and she told me with regret – we joined the chamber of commerce. But she did point me in the right direction –so I went to another store where the owner was upset with the school and he told me that the chamber had come to him and told him if he did not shut up about his issue that he will lose some business.
All this is showing me is that corruption in our Government is very bad all the way up to our president And now with closed door sessions in the capital and THERE will
To force us to accept what they want in the interest of there lobbyist is an outrage.
I for one will do all I can to vote any politician out that will not do what the majority
Of the Citizens of the United States Of America wants done. No Town city state can
Outsource jobs and tax there way in to prosperity and at the same time allow illegal
Immigrants to have access to jobs health care and bank accounts – I will spend most of this day faxing senators and printing out letters to mail to them – also I know we will do better to remember –IN GOD WE TRUST

It seems to me the Chamber of Commerce is operating totally out of their bounds.

This is the kind of strong arm stuff the Mafia used and now gangs use.

What you didn't realize back then is that the Chamber members were most likely on your school board.

Funny that those fat cat businesses weren't volunteering to sponsor those kids.
