VA: Ignoring the Law Tacitly Condones Illegal Behavior
Ignoring the law tacitly condones illegal behavior
The Examiner (Washington, DC)
April 6, 2011 Wednesday
Washington Edition
By J.L. Underwood
The term "noncriminal illegal aliens" makes no sense.
People who are in this country illegally are criminals.
Hooray for Prince George's County and other jurisdictions for expelling anyone found in this country illegally.
When America ignores any law, we are then outright tacitly condoning unlawful behavior.
Just because an "illegal invader" has not yet committed another crime does not grant him or her any right to remain here.
Crossing America's borders illegally, residing in this country without permission, falsifying and forging employment documents and stealing another's legal ID are all good reasons to deport someone.
And the fact that they were willing to commit crimes to come here most likely predisposes them to commit another.
If America evicts all illegal aliens we encounter, we will send a very strong message to the others: Leave now or be deported later.
