Illegal Aliens anyone?
Anyone else feel this way? I keep watching news, listening to what new Reps are saying in the House and Senate, and checking their sites. I'm hearing squat on anything about illegal immigration and the border. Everything is about repealing the healthcare bill and cutting the budget which is really just them talking about starving the obamacare. Not one is saying anything about entitlement spending or more importantly illegal aliens and border security.
I've seen hearing the same since Christmas seeming 1 week after the DA was defeated them again forgot about our real issue. I'm starting to feel we mighta been betrayed again with them trying to ignore the issue.
Anyone else feeling the same way? Gimme something to raise my spirits. Seems even fox news is refusing to talk about it...

There is
There is serious effort to stop and reverse illegal immigration. However, in order to avoid whines about racism, protectionism, xenophobia etc it is mostly under a lid or semi-behind closed doors.
They are fully aware (and also terrified) of the boiling point that Americans are so close to reaching.

Senator Pearce and a couple of house representatives are in the process of fighting birthright citizenship this month. That is the big topic right now.

Lamar Smith has also made numerous public statements about ending birthright citizenship for illegal aliens, streamlining deportations to expedite the process and reduce the cost, increased border security, and states rights to enforce US immigration law.
Pete King has made numerous appearances describing what he'll try to do in his committee on increased border security as has Steve King in his who adamantly wants an end to automatic birthright citizenship for children of illegal aliens.
I believe this year will result in the passing of mandatory E-verify, increased work site enforcement, streamlined deportation procedures, approval by the US House of Representatives for states to enforce US immigration law, and passage of a bill in the House, HR 1868, that ends automatic birthright citizenship for children of illegal aliens. Simultaneously to this, we'll see a repeal of Obama Care and passage of the FairTax in the US House of Representatives.
What happens to all of this in the US Senate is unknown and depends on what Democrats in the Senate want to do.A Nation Without Borders Is Not A Nation - Ronald Reagan

I too think there are some workings in progress but they do not want to show their hand before the hammer falls on illegals. Let us just hope they are not going to let this issue slide.
