    Fewer Americans want to work

I don't know if you could actually call what a lot of Americans have been doing "work". It's not like getting up on a roof in the drenching rain, or hot sun, and exposing yourself to the danger of falling off, also.

But don't think I am complaining about skilled professionals who are actually competent.

What has been happening is that the level of professional vocations has been increasing... at least when our economy is in an expansion mode. This is assisted by the formation of new companies and corresponding employment opps. for college grads----but is also highly dependent upon and addicted to the importation of foreign labor. Peter Schiff, who was a Republican candidate for US Senate from Conn. had addressed this quite a lot. He refers to it as "the bloated service sector" and in my opinion it took root in our economy during the era of the GI Bill.

Then, there have been lots of reports about how US office workers spend a lot of time at extraneous interests---something like 2 hours a day on the average. So, many of them are not really doing necessary tasks, but they are loafing as well. So, yes, a lot of Americans don't want to work. And that's true even when they are collecting a salary.

Hell me neither, but I can't get my hands on any of that good Obama money! Dang! Competent Professionals thanks Captinron I'm gonna use that on my business cards and thanks for noticing the rain and sun also. I was kidding I don't want any of obama's borrowed money! It's smells like corruption. I sure will be glad when America is restored to her former Glory to me she was never 2nd best to any country.
