ACORN getting involved with Illegal immigration... hmmm

Reps. John Conyers (D-Mich.), Jerrold Nadler (D-N.Y.), Zoe Lofgren (D-Calif.), and Robert Scott (D-Va.) requested the investigation, and activists groups such as National Day Laborer Organizer Network and ACORN launched petition drives and rallies in support of the probe.

This is in relation to their support to fire:
    Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio

Why is ACORN getting involved with this? I thought they were an urban developement sorta group -- of course while getting funneled billions in taxpayer dollars to promote bad mortgages to illegal immigrants.. I just thought this was interesting.. Could ACORN be just the financial arm of La Raza?

I ran into a lady at the grocery store......she and her church group are signing up with the case for the "family" as well. In her mind it's supporting the "family".....they are doing the "red envelope" campaigne. They are against abortion or at the least, wanting America to fund abortions over seas, they are also against the embryo research. What they do is send a red envelope, addressed to the White House, as a symbol of each un-born child not being allowed to live. They don't seem to be aware of who's funding this and what the real agenda is. It's also anti-war and any other group they can throw in the mix. Kind of like the crazy bills congress puts forth.....anything and everything thrown in the mix to make it look good. Might as well toss abused children and anything else in. So mixed as to why they are there that it confuses the issues.
