Capitol offices were filled with pro-amnesty supporters today -- your voice needed Friday

Send new faxes and pick up your talking points for phone calls on your Action Buffet corkboard

DEAR FRIENDS,

First, thanks to all of you who responded to my Alert of early Wednesday to fax and phone to counteract the giant open-borders gathering that began that day.

Since yesterday morning, you have sent 99,207 faxes to Congress through NumbersUSA with a clear message:

No amnesty for illegal aliens

Less immigration overall

Special thanks to those of you who picked up the phone and delivered that short message.

HALLS OF CONGRESS FILLED WITH YOUNG ADVOCATES FOR AMNESTY TODAY

Our lobbyists reported that everywhere they went on the Hill today they had to work their way through college-age advocates for the DREAM Act amnesty for most illegal aliens under the age of 35.

I have no doubt that your faxes and phone calls far outnumbered the faxes and phone calls from the national open-borders mobilization this week. But so many students actually in the congressional offices creates a strong impression.

Expect a lot more of this Friday.

YOUR PHONE CALLS HAVE TO COUNTERACT THE IMPRESSION OF THE IN-PERSON LOBBYISTS

The one way to keep the in-person open-borders advocates from leaving a convincing impression is to pick up a phone and enter those offices yourself on Friday through the miracle of telecommunications.

Make sure that the staffers in the front offices talk to 10 times more of you Friday than they talk to the in-person advocates.

Go to your Action Buffet corkboard for the phone notes that will give you phone numbers and talking points.

Consider how much easier it is to make a 60-second phone call than to board a plane and fly to D.C. to deliver the message. Can you make that effort Friday?

We have to slow down the momentum for an amnesty bill now.

Earlier today, top Democratic leaders in the House and Senate announced that they expect to assemble the amnesty this fall and feel that the public's opinion has substantially shifted since it defeated an amnesty in 2007.

You are the only force that can help congressional leaders believe that Americans are just as opposed to amnesty today as two years ago.

THANKS,
