Thread: CNN'S POLL

Did any of you see cnn's poll on immigration tonight. They say that 70 some percent, I think it was 72% of all americans want some kind on amnesty for illegals. Who in the world are taking these polls, I can't believe that 72% of americans want this. Everyone I talk to is against it. I would like to know where these figures come from.

Thats the only poll I saw. It is 92% are not suprized that the talk of amnesty is driving in more illegals.

That was the poll they voted on on lou dobbs tonight, but this poll was taken by cnn, they said. They talked about it on lou dobbs tonight and on anderson cooper and said 72% of americans want some type of amnesty for illegals.

I wonder if the poll was conducted on a server running Microsoft product? If so, the poll is irrelevant

Yes, I saw that. Supposedly this poll says that 74% of Americans favor legalizing illegals that have been in the country for five years or longer.

I don't know when this poll was taken...don't know if it was a 'telephone' poll b/c that info wasn't given.

Did I believe it? NO! I thought they were attempting to influence the citizens...to make them wonder why they were against it when 74% want them here. Furthermore I think this type of 'poll' is used all the time...untruth...plain and simple. It's designed to make those fighting the issue to feel overwhelmed and surrender.

Am I surprised that CNN did it? Of course not...look at the simpering stories they show...except for Lou Dobbs CNN looks favorably upon illegals. That's why I NEVER watch anything on CNN other than Lou Dobbs...
