Thank you all - he's home!

Thank you all for such kind words for my National Guard husband and his troops.

He's home now and said they got in over 2 miles of fencing. I think this is very good for the short time they were there. He said there were guard members from all over the USA. He said guardsmen were spread out over 250 miles...from where he was, and towards the Western part of Az. and Tx.

He was supposed to come in here around 5am, but was diverted due to fog, so I wasn't able to pick him up till around noon.

Said the motel they had there, didn't have a/c, so they all ran to Wally World and bought fans...then the plane didn't have a/c either.

He's took pictures, none of illegals as he didn't know who was legal or not, since there were so many down there. When we get them developed I will do my best to post here.

He also said "thanks" for your wishes for him and his troops.

Tell your husband "Thank you" from me for his service, Moosetracks. And for the report on the border.

I sure wish they would put all our soldiers on our own borders and off Iraq's.

    moosetracks:

    Hey, congrats are in order!

Although, I had whipped together the first half of a nice 'thank you' letter to him (and fellow troops)...family matters sidetracked me and I never did get around to posting in the appropriate thread the other day.

So ... THANK YOU! - to your significant other and we hope things will get back to normal very soon as well. Those guys/gals are absolutely fantastic.

Go turn on the A/C now too!
