Thread: Tip: poll taker called me--CNN taking a political poll

Usually I simply hang up on what seems a telemarketer call. If you get a call, before hanging up, find out who is calling.

CNN News is conducting a political poll with the results to be aired Mon. or Tues. according to the poll taker. He didn't have information concerning which program would air the results. Since I recently contacted Lou Dobbs believe the program will possibley be his.

Illegal immigration and Clinton seemed seemed to be focuses of the poll.
Some of the questions asked:
More likely to support Clinton or Rommney or other
More like to vote for Clinton or Giuliani or other
Support drivers licenses for illegal aliens
How many illegal aliens should be deported--all, some, none
Race
etc.

The poll taker himself, from Tucson, AZ, wasn't aware of Governor Eliot "Illegals on Wheels" Spitzer's illegal aliens drivers license law so I took the opportunity to educate him on the subject. I asked him if the Mexican flag was still flying at the Tucson airport (past discussion on here)--he didn't know. He works for a firm CNN hired to conduct the poll.

wow, you are the first real person I have ever met who was contacted by a poller. Ok, technically we have not met, but you know what I meant lol

I firmly believe that Lou's running for President will be our November surprise. I honestly believe they are doing a poll to get a general idea of how many people are sick and tired of being sick and tired of the same political bs from the same 2 bs parties.

If the poll comes out favorably, I think Lou will throw his hat in the ring.

He keeps saying that he is not running, but if he did surprise us and run...
He would get my vote!!! Absolutely!!!!

I read an article recently that mentioned the possiblility of someone, yet to come forth, would be the one to unite the people.....maybe it will be Lou. I'd vote for him.

Is it possible that Gore might be running? That he might tone down the Democratic side of his personality, and lean more toward the view of less "government programs".

He has finally gotten some attention on Environmental Issues and dependency on OIL.

The last election was won over Bush. No don't the vote counts were skewed. All of the candidates double talk when it comes to immigration. The strongest candidate is burying herself without help from any other candidates.

Maybe Gore will enter at exactly the point where don't have a decent candidate.

Which is right about now.
