This was my off the cuff rant!

Dear Katie,

I would like to hear from all the Americans (true blue and first generation OTMs) that are standing up to our government officials and telling them to end the status quo and end illegal migration once and for all.

America was promised in 1986 that there would never be another amnesty and we feel betrayed, since the US Senate is attempting to pass legislation that is clearly amnesty. Our elected officials are ignoring the voting public and they are taking the side of criminal intruders.

We have been forsaken. Real, everyday, tax paying citizens are trapped between people they elected and illegal aliens. For instance, I can not get a single person on my city council, or county official to call me back much less tell me their position on illegal immigration. I have a right to know because I elected them and they are supposed to be performing their duties according to my will. Ignoring me is actually taking an allegiance with the foreign nationals living amongst us unlawfully.

The first crime is at the border crossing but then a string of crimes are perpetrated by every illegal alien within the American borders. Even more insulting is the fact that illegal aliens are actually rewarded with social benefits that are funded by my tax dollars. Furthering my red blooded American injuries there are laws put to vote that will potentially grant the criminals citizenship.

With all honesty, I don't want to share my citizenship with anyone that has forced themselves on me, cheated the system and committed crimes against me and my government. I'm a citizen with rights and I am demanding respect, representation and that the majority rules this country.

I have become pushed aside by the ACLU, the church, special interest groups, big business, lobbyist of all sorts, foreign governments and illegal aliens/foreign nationals. None of which have any rights granted in the Constitution, to persuade my lawmakers, and to run this country. Only individual citizens have the right to vote and the right of representation. There is an unfair advantage being played out against the tax burdened middle class of America.

Politicians will not answer their letters, faxes, e-mails or phone calls but they will wet themselves to go before mighty businessmen like Forbes and Gates. They are mingling in fancy dinners with special interest groups and church leaders. They are granting rights to foreign nationals, which are criminal intruders and members of an invasion force. We have been forsaken for representation without taxation.

American citizens have become worse than 2nd class citizens...we have become ignored. We are invisible and unheard by the elected officials, which took an oath to represent our desires.

What happen to the rule of law and the majority rules? Every standard principle and right granted citizens in the Constitution is being ignored.

The only thing left for us to do is vote out the politicians that refuse to abide by the will of the people. But they know how to forsake us, deceive us and pull the political wool over our eyes.

We are the lost citizens of the United States of America and we want our rights back! We the people want our representatives to represent us, not just send us a deceitful letters that truly expresses no position at all or clearly define the politician's position on a matter. I've received piles of insignificant fence sitting letters that are misguiding the recipient with two faced statements and lying by omission.

It's time for the political tide to change and the citizens that have been silent and complacent need to regain control of this country. Status quo has become unacceptable and illegal immigration is the driving force.

Katie, I want to tell you about the politician I find most insulting of them all. Senator Kay Bailey-Hutchison had the never to publicly criticize the citizens of Farmers Branch, which actually achieved a miracle and convinced their local representatives to do something about the illegal immigration problem in their community. Hutchison, exclaimed that it is the job of the federal government and not the peons of local government, which preformed thier duty and listened to the voters. Frankly, she has a lot of nerve considering she is one of the great political adulterators, which refuse to abide by the will of the majority. She has shucked off her responsibility to her constituents and bedded down with foreign nationals and big business. She has ignored our pleas of no amnesty and has forsaken the voters.

The second choice for most outrageous politician, in my chain of fools is Governor Rick Perry. He wants to give a huge portion of my state over to foreign control and we are going to be paying them to seize our property via eminent domain for a giant supper highway. There is not a citizen in my north Texas community that has ever expressed a desire for this monstrosity and everyone attending the transportation department public hearings have been firmly against it. Why does Perry continue to publicly endorse this insult and tell us that things are going on as planned? He has also publicly put immigration enforcement off onto the federal government.

Honestly Katie, out of all of my political lawmakers, including local, state and federal government, there is only one that I feel is representing me and fulfilling his duty to me, and that is US Representative Michael Burgess. The rest of them are not.

I want to close by saying that Americans will take back this country city by city, politician by politician. The will of the people can not be pushed aside and ignored any longer. We the people demand a secure border, expulsion of criminal illegal aliens, enforcement of our laws and no amnesty aka guest worker program or path to citizenship. We deserve better than what we have been receiving from our politicians. Our nation must function as it should and be guided and directed by the will of the people. Otherwise, we are no better than our lessors and I would hate to live in a country that is anything less that what this great nation should be.
