    I'm headed to Mexico

Dear President Bush: I'm about to plan a little trip with my family and extended family, and I would like to ask you to assist me. I'm going to walk across the border from the U.S. into Mexico, and I need to make a few arrangements. I know you can help with this. I plan to skip all the legal stuff like visas, passports, immigration quotas and laws. I'm sure they handle those things the same way you do here.

All government forms need to be printed in English.

I want my kids to be taught by English-speaking teachers.

Schools need to include classes on American culture and history.

I want my kids to see the American flag flying on the top of the flag pole at their school with the Mexican flag flying lower down.

Please plan to feed my kids at school for both breakfast and lunch.

I will need a local Mexican driver's license so I can get easy access to government services. I do not plan to have any car insurance, and I won't make any effort to learn local traffic laws.

In case one of the Mexican police officers does not get the memo from Pres. Fox to leave me alone, please be sure that all police officers speak English.

I plan to fly the U.S. flag from my house top, put flag decals on my car, and have a gigantic celebration on July 4th. I do not want any complaints or negative comments from the locals.

I would also like to have a nice job without paying any taxes, and don't enforce any labor laws or tax laws.

Please tell all the people in the country to be extremely nice and never say a critical word about me, or about the strain I might place on the economy. I know this is an easy request because you already do all these things for all the people who come to the U.S. from Mexico.

    Sincerely, David M. Bresnahan

I can't agree with you more, MrBean. Your post was very well stated. What's so sad to me, however, is that people who disagree with your point of view, will never listen to what you are saying...they will only see you as cruel, heartless, oh, and of course, VERY unsophisticated.
Nonetheless, we can't back down. We'll lose this wonderful country, just as every other past civilization has, who opened uncontrollably, their borders.

Great post bean, but I'm going also and you left out a couple of things ...

It's poosible that I might want to get drunk and kill a few mexicans while driving so to avoid any problems please have the mexican police leave me alone.

I may get a little "randy" so if I decide to rape a few women I expect to be released and given a court date far enough in advance so I can skip back into America before I stand trial.

Also, I may in a fit of drunken rage decide to kill a few people and escape back to the U.S. so please ammend the extradition laws so I cannot be sent back for trial.

I think that should about covers most of it. Wait a sec, I might need a house to buy during my stay so please instruct the banks to waive any legalitys that might prevent me from buying one.
Yes, that about covers it, don't worry if I can think of anything else I'll just protest in mexico until the mexican government gives in.

    Thanks a Bunch

Three Million Americans to Immigrate to Mexico

Yours is a great idea! Why don't you take some friends?

I wonder what would happen if three million US citizens went to Mexico and staged a rally demanding OUR rights as illegal aliens in their country.

Tell them you demand the right to own property and you don't want to screw around for 5 years waiting either!
